Who bought who? Did Cogentix buy Laborie, or vice-versa? Curious what that did to the dynamics of the organization? I'm interviewing for a spot with them and am wondering what the products are like? And what is the true base + commission? Recruiters always have that part wrong... Any info would be appreciated...
Laborie bought Cogentix. Huge difference in experience and skills of the 2 sales forces. Cogentix is seasoned, Laborie reps are younger. $180K base at plan f r Cogentix but that includes endourology which no one can sell. More of a $150-$160K job IMO unless you sell a bunch of capital. Things are most likely not changing for the best
Thanks for the reply. Why do you feel that no one can sell endourology? Too much competition? Lack of contracts? What about hitting ASC's? How does the cysto sleeve sell - is it being adopted?
