What does a typical work week in medical device sales look like? I'm a young guy, hungry for money with experience, but without a degree. Really looking to move into selling bigger ticket items.

Cold calling? Traveling? Follow up? Customer success? Marketing?

You won't get hired without a degree unless you apply at MIS Implants

Experience at what? Certainly not improving yourself. You couldn't even stick it out for 2 years to get an associate's degree?

Been working in the sales side of the dental marketing industry for the past 5 years. I'm 2 courses short of an associates in business admin, which I've been doing part-time. I plan on pursuing a bachelor's degree part-time in conjunction to working - it's the only way I got everything towards an associates. I'd love to take some time off of work and knock these degrees out, but my family isn't quite there financially.

    Thanks for hearing the rant.

Without a Bachelors Degree your chances are slim. I do know that at distributors - like Patterson/Schein/Benco there are people without degrees selling. But your chance for advancement will be extremely limited. In today's business world a minimum of a bachelors degree is required. There are plenty of hungry, motivated knowledgable people WITH a Bachelors Degree or MBA in the dental field. My advice would be to struggle and suffer to get the degree that struggling will be sigficantly less than th struggle you face for the next forty years without a degree. I speak from experience.

yeah....a degree. You don't need a degree to sell....but they do require it. I have no idea why.

If you're Korean, go to Hiossen. Don't care if you cannot read, write, compute basic arithmetic, or speak English. Hell, even if you cannot sell they will hire you if you are Korean. Probably bump you up to Regional Director for your underwhelming performance.
