It pains me that some of my colleagues from Meda were let go that were head and shoulders better than any of the lazy complain about everything Mylan reps. This place wouldn't be worried about layoffs if it got rid of the Mylan trash and kept the Meda reps that have had real training, sold real products, and had real management.

That's because the Meda reps had to really Sell! Didn't have a product that everyone in the world knows about.

Any and EVERY Meda piece of trash-reps and management should feel fortunate that they were kept- what company other than Mylan buys a company and then lets some of their own reps go- the company getting bought usually suffers the layoffs. It’s beyond me why we kept any of you Meda people. Just keep your mouths shut and feel lucky you were kept. Mylan would take a serious step forward if they got rid of EVERY Meda person who took a Mylan person’s place and call every one of the Mylan people back that was laid off for you pieces of trash. BTW- Mylan people complain because they remember what a great culture we had before you people polluted it.

Ya think it might be because they were paid about 20K more than the average Meda rep. That might have something to do with it. Duh.

The Mylan reps aren’t lazy. Those who have been there know to just keep your head down and blend in. Everyone knows that you don’t do anything great or extra. Otherwise, you will be noticed by management and be on their radar. Once you are on senior management’s radar for doing anything well, trying new things, etc., you are much more likely to get fired. Just blend in. Don’t get on anyone’s radar and you won’t get fired. The Mylan people are told this.

Although not a rep, I can honestly say that the calibre of the MEDA teams across the business are third rate at best. I dont know whether its just plain laziness or a mixture of stupidity and ignorance. Mylan certainly did not purchase MEDA for its People, Processes or Systems thats for sure.

There are three teams in the Florida district at Mylan. One, Is the DM and the Meda reps that remained after the buyout. The second team , are the legacy Mylan reps that remain. Finally, the third team are the new hires who are trying to figure things out. The DM has made no effort to create a cohesive team. There is little to no communication from the DM to the existing Mylan reps. While information flows freely to the former Meda reps. As far as the new reps are concerned, we will need to wait and see if the Florida DM tries to bring them into the fold with the former Meda reps.
Because of years of messaging from corporate and compliance, Mylan reps strictly adhere to compliance guidelines for Yupelri Speaker Programs both in and out of the office. The former Meda reps play under a different set of rules which makes it easier to execute these program. The Florida DM is very well aware of these non compliant practices and often recommends and condones these practices. Compliance would have a field day. Needless to say, not a level playing field.

Trust me any shadiness will be removed post Pfizer merger; they are compliance nazis that will send violators to the western front to be shot at sunrise.

It should not have been relevant after the Mylan/ Meda deal. New name, possibly same players from the DM level down. If that is the case, nothing will change.
