Yea. When can DSM's hire for vacant territories? or When can we expect real layoffs vs. hiring holds?

in my experience, these would be more appropriately titled, if they were called "TELL CALLS" very, very few questions ever taken.......

ask not what you can do with your bonus. ask what our ceo will do by pooling all bonuses into his make-up pay for being the poorest paid ceo, at $13.7M!

This is a check the box program so someone can say on their annual performance review that they have an inclusive and transparent communication plan with the sales force. They don't give two shits what our opinions are or even what issues we think are key. This is all about them and their fucking performance goals. And our peers will do the typical suck up comments about how wonderful everything is. You can make a list right now of who will speak up. But nobody will raise a negative point or ask a challenging question, particularly our management team.

I'll ask what diabetes will carry going forward besides Farxiga. With the trulicity news today, bcise is DOA! And then there's oral victoza down the road!

Lilly stock value going through the roof. Guess who the financial experts favor in the diabetes wars?

It sounds like you see the writing on the wall and layoffs in diabetes is the best answer. It has been a long time coming for this. I’m dusting off my resume now.

Let’s face it. Exenatide died along with Amylin. No Amylin, no exenatide. That’s the simple truth.

why the insanity and mad dash with bcise samples? makes no sense! just don't give us any for dec, but why take them away if you don't use them in two days? i think they've known the rewind data was coming and now they sheet the bed. AZ gonna AZ!

i have to laugh, because they scheduled, cancelled, rescheduled, and cancelled that call about 4 times. When they cancelled it for sure, I KNEW something was up in terms of people
    Getting canned.

If they really gave a rats ass about transparency as they claim to, they’d have kept the call OR done it after the “cleansing” so that people could ASK them why the SET team
Is such a bunch of Phony corporate monkeys who don’t give a crap about honesty culture or their employees!

What about doing all of this over the Holidays. But like one of our infamous VPs of Sales once said to the entire sales force, " Have a wonderful holiday and try to enjoy the leftovers."
In other words, all you peasants enjoy your couple of days off with your miserable little holiday traditions while the rest of us cruise on down to the Bahamas. I still have a recording of that voice mail, just to cheer me up once in a while.

I also remember the "leftovers" voice mail. I was also insulted. Shortly after that call I worked in the field with my DM. She asked me what I thought of the voice message. I told her I was insulted. She admitted she was too. Goes to show you how bad the culture was then and how it got much worse now.

geez people get over it.....and 'leftovers' wasn't from the VP of sales---it was from the dearly deposed RF--the VP of north america way back when--before PH and RD? I lose track--these cardboard cutout execs all look the same after awhile....
