Quitting! Bonus based on made up quasi numbers. Go for it only at a last resort.

No bonus. Not paid on your sales numbers, but there will be extreme pressure to perform, but no matter how great your numbers are, you will be paid based on how well you suck up and how the area and nation do.

Unless you do not have a job, are about to be homeless, and are ok with being treated like a child, then stay away. Read these boards. The truth is stated all over here.

GSK used to be one of the best companies to work for. Not anymore.

Reps quitting and leaving the division. You work your butt off but not rewarded. They expect reps to do magic around here. Many leaving or left already.

+1. If account management means lying to make call metrics proposed by management

Account manager quit. Extremely high expectations from management with docs who are shutting the doors left and right so ur left to do wonders. Good luck w that!

Not sure why anyone would leave their conpany to come here. This place is toxic and makes you hate what you do every day. Leadership is awful, micromanaging like no other and everything else makes it difficult to do your job. Worst is you'll prob be ranked in the middle of the pack or way down in the bottom no matter how hard you work. Can't wait to leave this place.

Big into micromanaging. Some managers have never been in any kind of specialty and bring their micromanaging ways with them. This BU is not real specialty in the way they treat you.

Are you all referring to the Account Manager Immunology position? I interviewed for the Arlington Va and was not impressed. They'll have to offer a really high pay above my current based on everyone's posts I'm reading. Can anyone share how much bonus reps make in the top 20-50%?? Are you all making bonus here? I'd hate to leave current comp only to make zilch.

it's time for gsk to come up with new strategies besides holding account managers full responsibility of driving up sales. there's only so much we can do around here. our managers are on us flies trying to 'validate' their jobs-pls stop it, it's unbearable. They expect us to do magic and when we can't, our bonus looks like crap. most get paid on peanuts for the amount the drug costs-- feel free to ask around.

Typical millennials, expect a hand out and big $$$$ for just showing up. Then they don't even put in a full day's work (maybe 3 or 4hrs) and complain how their 6 figure salary is peanuts. No wonder pharma is collapsing.
