Amitiza and I just got back from the lake about an hour ago. The weather was delightful! Very comfortable, with the temperature at about 70 degrees! I love it! Perfect weather!

 

Saturday morning at the lake was very nice! Many friends were there and the weather was quite mild, in the upper 60's now! Amitiza was happy, especially since our friends brought dog treats with them! I really need tp start bringing "treats' to the lake with me too1
Tonight my spouse and I will join the doc and his wife for dinner at Pier 36 for Seafood. It's a great restaurant in Richmond, and everything on the menu is wonderfully prepared!

Thanksgiving morning I have agreed to help serve food at the Woman's Shelter. After that, I'll join my family for our Thanksgiving meal!

 

Well, we had a wonderful meal last night at Pier 36 in Richmond! The doc and I both had broiled Flounder, oysters and shrimp! Great food!
This morning is very cloudy, and the weather calls for rain! But it's mild out, and Amitiza and I went to the lake. We watched as several friends brought their dogs to the lake area. So, we stayed about an hour and then came home! It looks like rain at any time now! If the rain holds off until much later, I'll take Amitiza back to the lake this afternoon.
Today is a good day to sit back, relax and watch TV in my Media Room, and watch football! The Texans play Washington today in D.C. They've won 6 games in a row, but the Redskins are tough!
My thanks again to my followers and the casual observers who read this board! We're heading towards 217,400 VIEWS now!

 

I am really getting tired having to spend all my time here running up the view count. Why don’t I have any real supporters instead of pretend ones. All I have are critics that know I am running up the view count, which I refer to as sweetness.

But YOU do serve some value with YOUR posts. YOU manage, ever so slightly Sweetness, to increase the VIEW count. YOU need to take pride in knowing YOU have helped in a small way to bring the VIEW count up over 217,000, by YOUR posts! For this, I do thank YOU!

 

Here is an idea. If your truly are a fan or supporter make yourself known. Share a couple of reasons why you seem to enjoy reading the same nonsense for the past eight years. If you folks are really out there I would expect to see 50-100 posts in favor within 24 hours. Anything less is just the OP gilding his lily.

 

Wow. Look at the flood of comments y all the supporters since late yesterday? How could anyone think that the view count was being run up by one person versus the mass impact by these hundreds of supporters. Just shocking.

Kind of nice to see the Texans win their 7th game in a row yesterday! I gotta' admit they're better than I thought at the start of the season! I think now they should make the playoffs!

Today is sunny with temperatures in the 50's! Still a bit tooo cold for me, but Amitiza and I did go to the lake earlier. Wearing a sweater and jeans made it comfortable enough to walk by the lake. And of course, Amitiza enjoyed the walk. I hope the rain stays away tomorrow so we can play at least 9 holes of golf.

 

Well. we managed to play 9 holes of golf earlier today! We actually finished playing before the rain came! It started to rain as we sat down to eat lunch at Victors, one of our favorite Mexican Restaurants, in the Sugar Land area!
It's supposed to rain tonight and tomorrow in the morning. Hopefully, there won't be a problem serving at the Woman's Shelter! I know the women are looking forward to having a Thanksgiving meal, even if it is at the Shelter. The rain is supposed to stop by the afternoon.

Amitiza and I went to the lake this morning, and most of our friends and their dogs were there. The weather here is cloudy, but mild. It is mild enough for me to wear shorts and a sweater! It's supposed to get colder, but sunnier the next several days.
It is still cool enough that Amitiza is quite frisky! One of my friends is "dog- sitting" a Great Dane for a week. That dog looks almost like a horse, much bigger then Amitiza, but he's very gentle!

Today is a good day to just relax, and watch college football in my Media Room!

Amitiza and I just got back from the lake a short time ago. And speaking of temperature, it's close to 80 degrees here outside this afternoon!! Very nice for this time of year! A few of my neighbors are putting up their Christmas lights already! I'm not ready for that until at least the end of next week!

Yesterday we served about 60 women for Thanksgiving at the Shelter. And they all seemed so grateful to us who served the meal! Glad to do it for them! Also, each of their kids got gifts purchased by the Shelter! NICE!
