Oncology Non-Compete

    Seems there is a non-compete but it's not uniformly enforced and is leveled at RBD and DBM discretion. Would love to get a better understanding of examples.

    For the field, only an issue if high volume and going to Merck. If middle of the pack go anywhere you want. Will be happy you are leaving. Good luck at your next job.

    Merck won't touch you if you are from any part or any division of BMS

    Novartis asked for my non-compete agreement. Then they did not want to forward.

    Well that's fortunate, why leave BMS Oncology to go to Merck Oncology ? Most people leave for a better job, better pay, or better work environment. One could debate molecule or indications, but why would anyone with oncology experience go to Merck ? Could anyone honestly say that Merck is an upgrade in any manner. NO possible way !
