Didn’t know properties were that profitable in Washington State.

Whatever they are worth the number controlled had better be great. Wednesday determines the fate of a large number of swinging dicks!

No, you still don’t know squat and still provide no real value to any of your clients.
If a company can’t figure out their own problems, they’re incompetent, clueless dolts..........like all of Pharma.
Pharma has been on its way down for many years by denying the obvious and the inevitable and doing the same sos or nothing, hoping things would change....they haven’t, and they never will. No consulting firm has any answers, just more of the sos, because there are none.

So there are no answers? Right on. Sounds to me like you are trapped a bit in your life. That’s okay, I hope things get better for you. You most likely lack real world experience in business as you have been a field sales/ delivery person for a while. There are all types of things you can be when you grow up. My original comments still apply. Go back and look, seems like you have plenty of time on your hands.

I have worked as an oncology rep for 15 years now. I have never worked for Merck.

I am posting this because I have been disgusted with Merck and BMS's sales and marketing tactics of their PD-1 inhibitors. The primary care 6 reps per territory rationalized by the greed of your companies upper management as necessary due to multiple indications and more on the way is embarassing and ridiculous to not only your company but the industry in general.

Your companies have started to close more offices and made a difficult access environment worse. Offices frequently complain about so many reps selling the same stuff so I now always make sure to point out I am the only rep promoting my products when scheduling things to make sure I don't get lumped in with your companies herd. It wasn't like this 4-5 years ago before the approval of Opdivo & Keytruda.

Congratulations Merck. You have made oncology tougher for all of us and turned it into a primary care circus. This from the company that has always tried to fancy itself the ethical and responsible industry company.

Merck only knows Primary Care mentality. That’s why anyone, with any aptitude to sell, runs from this company after a couple years. Merck is where you start, and then move on to gain respect and money.

Thats what happens when your company us dumb enough to hire 5-6 reps per territory. Of course they aren't going to pay bonus. Too many miuths to feed.

It isn't rocket science. My advice would be get out of that mess as soon as possible.

Merck Oncology now allows for a 2 day work week since we are now 4 up in a territory with an OSKAM, a Nurse Educator, a Reimbursement Associate, a Reimbursement Manager, a CTL, an OMAD, an HSOMAD, an NAE , a specialist in bio-marker testing, DCO’s, a field trainer and a group of marketing talking heads that always want to tag along in the field because they can't stand to be around the leadership morons, and BC. Did I get all the stakeholders who want to glad hand all the customers?... Those customers who don't really even want to see one rep..... Oh shit, I forgot Managed Care pajama champions...

The joke is always on the assumption that you attempt to sway opinions when you are incapable of articulated thought and verbalization. Uneducated underclass!

Your first statement was a lie. You have worked for Merck. I am guessing you still do. Get over it

Keytruda is king and we all know it. I do agree there are way too many reps causing account confusion & frustration.

Do as I did, use your Mrk oncology experience as a stepping stone to more $'s! As a rep I went to Amgen and can say there are greener pastures. I got 2k more salary per month, 21k more bonus per year, luxury fleet car and rsu's galore. It took some time to adjust as they have a dot com culture but my point is use your experience and go to another company. Your well being and wallet will be better served.

LOL. Wrong. Believe whatever you want, though.

I must have articulated my point and hit a major nerve to elicit such a defensive and bizarre reaction. Truth must hurt.
