What is the future for this product? Why so many challenges in growing it and the lack of recognition for the time spent developing it on the rep's part?
Uh, because you get the same results jamming your finger up your nose. Kind of hard to sell something when everyone is born with ten of them.
You're obviously not with Allergan Eye Care nor in the Eye Care space... The above is not true.Go back to primary care.
nah I’m a blue rep and it’s a disaster device. the doctors don’t take it seriously. total joke they recently have been hiring burned out reps to fill these positions
True Tear is dying or maybe already dead. Boltons off the product which says a lot too. It sucks up so much of the reps time with little to zero roi. Ackerman and team made out like a bandit but allergan will never recover their investment on truetear. it's just impossible to make the nose cool. those commercials though, hilarious! and have you found your T-spot? the jokes are endless so at least that makes this all entertaining. Good luck Allergan - Eye Care - the ship has some holes and is slowly sinking.
I use it, it works, and well. But it was DOA. No one wants to shove that thing up their nose. And the tech for the non reusable disposable, which actually is reusable, makes it a sales nightmare. AGN bought the cow, unfortunately it was lame and was actually a goat.
Where are the reps ranked who are actually doing well with this product? Not in top 10%... What does that tell ya? Don't even bother with it... Or Allergan, make this a much larger compensation for the reps, then you'd get everyone to actually sell it. The reps that focused less on this device are reaping the benefits. If Allergan actually believed in the product, it would be over half our portfolio.
