What is up NC??? Did you do any homework before you hire or just not a sh%$ - hiring people who were let go; have reputations for being nothing but lazy, rarely working, fudging calls I mean if everyone else is aware not sure why you made that choice?! HMMMM lets see how long this lasts:rolleyes:

Sorry you didn't get the offer you were looking for from us. A bit of advice, move on and find a company that would like to have you. I'm sure there is one out there. Have a joyous Holiday season :).

Wrong bud! I already work here What’s wrong - Truth hitting close to home? Common sense -I question a manager who knows the area/industry and bases decisions off word of mouth from some “recommendations” vs doing your homework to find out who keeps getting let go for being lazy and falsifying calls!

Only a matter of time and there will be another opening.

Thank you - Hope you have a joyous holiday season too!

Hire people who won't challenge you.. who don't pose a threat to your career from a promotion standpoint. It's all self preservation. And definitely don't hire someone who is smarter than you. It's the Alkermes way.

    Dear Alkermes,

If this is true, it is not in the best interest of your shareholders and investors.

    Dear U R A Dumbass,

We take everything into account. Leadership, pipeline, strategy and yes industry blogs. Agreed not everything is true however the information is vetted. If the culture is ailing, if leadership is subpar and the commitment is lacking it doesn’t bode well for the overall health of the company or predict a strong performance for investors on the street.

This isn’t about you, it’s about money. Investors don’t want to invest in a losing proposition.

You should probably partake in your next quarterly earnings call. If you listen to the questions asked it might give you insight.

    Dear Wall Street Insider,

Your already low credibility diminishes by another degree every time post.

    Sing it with me:

    “Every time you post, aha-waaaay...

...you take a piece of credibility, from you”

p.s. questions and answers on earnings calls are scripted in advance.

Now go watch “The Wolf of Wall Street for the eleventh time.

I think it is smart for investors to check this site. You are 100% correct. This site tells a lot about the culture. The company is bloated and needs to go on a diet. The management is arrogant, the reps are aggressive in a bad way, the head of marketing has zero medical background and acts like she is a doctor. The medical affairs guy is a child. I would run for the hills, unless you like doing business with spoiled children. Alkermes is a joke!

Alkermes reps are the most insecure reps ever. Think about it...Middle management undermines their reps and management regularly. Upper management makes decisions with out asking, or consulting with existing hard working reps to get opinions or ideas. An example is the decision to hire a group of hospital reps to do the same jobs that the TBM's have already been doing. You would think they would at least ask for feedback, and opinions, and offer opportunities for upward and lateral growth. The field is expected to go out an execute with out being part of anything. This is why the culture is awful.

This hits the nail on the head. Culture was good for a long time while TBMs and our customers provided feedback to inform management decisions. Ever since JR took the reigns this has stopped. We’ve flipped from a healthy balance of bottom up and top down communication to almost 100% top down decisions and communication. Uninformed, unilateral decisions are a recipe for disaster.

It will all work out in the end though. If this is what new leadership really wants, then this is what they’ll get. People who are really good and smart and respect themselves will leave and go to places where their ideas and feedback are heard and valued, places similar to how Alkwrmes used to be. The new Alkermes will be left with the order taking robots they apparently want.
