Is it legal?

Is it legal to fire everyone over 40 in an entire region? Because the managers in the Missouri/Arkansas region are taking them out on a daily basis even if the rep has great numbers. I know SB gets by with a lot of non-compliant things, but surely this is over the line.

is it legal? No but Allergan finds a way to make it legal. You can’t technically prove they were ran off because of age. So they’ll change your behaviors. Very simple.

You got a doc not prescribing? Oh! Well the DM will say that you have made X amount of calls on them but have been effective. But but what about my partners not affecting them? Well you need to take responsibility and be accountable so that’s gonna effect your behaviors. But but but my drug is a step edit in that office and the doc won’t do step edits. Well they can still get your drug so that’s not an excuse and again you refuse to hold yourself accountable.

Lol Allergan is the sleeve of pharmaceuticals. And you’ll have a hard time getting hired working in that POD system. Oh and the company your interviewing with wants to see your field ride evals? Lmao ....Allergan DMs and their “meets expectations” or if you’re not in the top 25% then your “below expectations” gonna hurt ya too. Allergan is bad for your career. Always get out as soon as you have a good year.

Holy Shnikes this is so spot on! You really can’t even critique it. Love the part where YOU are held responsible for the bad numbers out of an office. Especially if it’s not even your primary product!
I will add that it’s especially ironic when your behaviors tumble when a new manager comes in. Your numbers are good. Your field Evans are good but in comes a new manager. You try things their way and numbers slide. Then all of a sudden you’re not a team player or your behavior s are to blame. Then you point out, “funny, I was doing just great before you got here. You’re the only part of this equation that’s changed “
As for SB, she has her stable of Boy Toys she keeps in line. So unless you are one of them you are in trouble

You know what isn’t legal? All the non-compliant actions SB forces her area to ‘sell’
She probably wants to get the older reps out because they are the ones who knows how shifty she and her managers are. HR would have a field day.

The best move is to leave. Why should Allergen continue to pay 40+ yr old complainers? You do realize there are 25 year olds willing to work 60+ hours for the same pay and benefits- guess what, they can lose market share too! If you are on here complaining it’s because you are not qualified enough to get a better job (or just too lazy.)

We are generic reps selling generic products conplaining with generic complaints. Good thing I’m out of here next week!!! Peace out or shut up!

You’re going to choke on your average mediocre life when your wife leaves you for being lazy chump.

Here’s the thing though. She’s been caught by Compliance several times yet she’s still here. She’s been ineligible for PC because of compliance issues, yet she’s still here. How many Reps can say that? So that begs the question: what does she do that lets her keep her job?

haha- I’m not a lesbian! If you are offended it’s because you are mediocre and can’t find a better job or any other company that would pay you! If you deserve more, go find it... or enjoy your current job and SHUT UP loser

YES!!! What they said! I was hired by SB and have always worked under SB. All I've ever heard is, "Well, you don't get to be that high up in the company without being a backstabbing b*****".
And their classic move is to put someone on a 30 day PIP. ADVANCE numbers aren't updated that quick so it's a clear way to push people out. Lots have reps that are being treated this way have been tenured and over 40 in age, lately. Four reps have gone down this way. Management has said "getting rid of people is easy, just watch".
For those from her region, you'll enjoy these closing quotes...
"How are you implementing the 4 Bears?"-I'd like to shoot these bears
"Only you know the answer. Take a look in the mirror"- Really? What's my manager for, then?
"Guys, you are making this too complicated. My own kids could do this job"- Maybe. But they'd eventually end up on a 30 day PIP

 I think CafePharma misspells words after the reply to thread button is clicked. I don't remember my above statement looking that jumbled when I submitted it. o_O

I never have known what the 4 Bears are/were. I just tell her about my work out routines and that she looks good and asks where she’s going on vacation. One of the ladies the USED to be here was pretty sure she had her own 50 shades of grey room.
