    NE -

TM, there is NO WAY we can hit our numbers without major relief for Horizon and UHC attrition.

Aetna means nothing compared to these two plans.

To say we have to hold onto what we have is not realistic and insulting.

    It can’t be done.

Leadership knows this. This is their method to thin the headcount via performance improvement plans that won't cost severance dollars.

Labcorp has made a huge mistake by letting good tenured reps with GREAT RELATIONSHIPS go while the idiots in management roles wring their hands like chicken little. Many of us “old timers” with years of experience are banding together to show how beneficial we truly are in the field. Our goal is to take one test per account per day away from Labcorp. We we can take the entire account, so be it. The competition is more than happy to provide info and as hard as it is to believe by management, phlebotomists will work per test under the table just fine!

This is not sour grapes. We are just showing the same courtesy that Labcorp has shown us after all these years. We are actually looking forward to it.

I get $10 a bag I send to another lab. How about you?

How are you giving a growth target for 2019???

The managed care folks who let in Quest to all plans in UHC and Horizon should be fired.

All of Raritan won’t make one red cent in commission in 2019

Try selling for a small lab without all the contracts you whining pussy! Put your big boy pants on and go sell something! If you have any talent get the hell out of LabCorp now.

There was a nicer way to say that.

This response is exactly what we have been talking about! The caliber of personnel that Labcorp attracts continues to dive. I left Labcorp years ago and I do work for a much smaller lab now. We enjoy most of plans that you do w/o all of the bs by clown managers. Now that it’s more of an equal playing field, let’s see how the big dog runs with your leadership chasing its tail all year.

Now that Labcorp has lost all of its “in-network” clout, management will having to start actually leading for a change! Good luck with that one!

Very true. Easy to look smart when the wind is at your back.

Has anyone heard of more layoffs coming the first of the year. Southeast division.

National in scale, perhaps even some fat corporate types.

Anybody who is let go is lucky! This won’t be too fun of a place to be once the United loss is felt. The finger pointing will make this place even more miserable. So glad to be gone in January. Just gathering all my info to take to my new job. Ha ha ha LCA won’t know what hit them! Morons!

Its a stick in the eye to be building a new lab to compete with Quest in New Jersey.

Swallow some pride, be fiscally responsible , canceling the new lab build is the proper thing to do and avoid some layoffs and cuts.

LabCorp is done. Too much overhead and people in Burlington that are living in the 1970's. Glad i'm gone!!

i made it a goal to go after all of my old accounts after I left. I guess the jokes on me because most of my old accounts left Labcorp when I did! Don’t wait for your non-compete because your accounts really aren’t staying on with the mothership as this clown-management wants you to believe.

Day late and truly a dollar short. Cutting projects like buildings will not affect plans for cuts and layoffs! Years of mismanagement will need to be corrected in a major way now that they have let this network mess get out of hand. Management needs to be the first to go instead of us in the field. Get rid of our so-called venture capitalists that are parasites that bring nothing to the table except negative numbers!

the lab industry is screwed anyway with the new EKRA law that was just passed. If you think we don’t make $$ now, just wait when we hear we will only be paid a salary as it’s illigeal now for any lab rep to get paid a bonus/commission from test volume. Quest is laying off.

Labcorp’s management team has a hard enough time leading when times are great. We are going to have a rough time getting through this mess with this bunch of losers!

A perfect example of the mess we are in was on LinkedIn. Senior VP commented on a quote discussing judging people by their actions, not their title. He stated that it was ok as long as no disrespect was intended. How arrogant! Respect is earned and has nothing to do with title! From what I have heard, he talks a big game but delivers little. Why doesn’t he actually earn some respect and figure out this United catastrophe!!
