Opko Health is the only pharmaceutical company that does NOT give you a "Christmas Break". Why are they so cheap?

Because they give you three weeks vacation instead of two. Yes, they are cheap - like having their recruiters fish around to see how cheap they can hire you for, but to complain about three weeks? Use your vacation week for Christ sake!

    Friggin whiners.

My you've never gotten over being called out on CP by your coworkers, have you? So sad, but, the world needs douche bags too!

What is sad is your attitude, especially since they are paying you a hefty base as one of the original 35. Or did you accept their lowball offer out of desparation? If you did then that's is your fault. Use your week of vacation. It is you who cannot handle being called out. There are a lot of legitimate reasons to complain about Opko but when I see petty stuff like this someone needs to call you on it.

    Holiday colors.

Yes, I will be using all of my vacation to take December off. Hopefully, I will have found a new job by then and can coast for awhile. This place sucks.

Every pharma company gives you three weeks vacation, five sick days, and at least two floating holidays. Opko isn't generous at all.

The question is how many people are going to coast in Q4 while looking for a new job? Only people in the top five have a shot at making the 150 prescriptions to reach the target bonus of $7500.00. Look at your paystub. Did you come close to making the targeted (uncapped bonus) $30k you were told about when you were hired? Does it look more like $20k? The breakdown would be $7500. from Q4 MBOs, $7500. (maybe) from Q1 MBOs which is $15k. While not on MBOs, did you make another $15k grand? Or was it two nickels in Q2 and three quarters in Q3? Everyone needs to take a serious look at their paystubs. Decide whether or not that nice base pay is worth staying for a decrease in bonus every quarter along with increasing crap every quarter. Don't forget that T.N. only wants to pay on new prescriptions in Q1. How are you going to make any money with only new prescriptions?

They are still working on the NBRx goal. Most RSSs are making less money this quarter.

Don’t send your resume to Webster’s. Did you skip school on the day that they taught spelling and grammar? How did you ever get a job here or in pharma? It’s not because you’re attractive either. Trust me. We know who you are.

I've worked Christmas before. Hospitals are open, doctors are rounding. We're part of healthcare-a system that never takes a vacation.

Go sell, stop complaining. Your HCPs need you.

Oh please. We are NOT part of amy healthcare system as you claim. We are part of the Pharmaceutical Industry in which most companies give off between Christmas and New Years. Opko is cheap in so many ways. And you are a kool aid drinker with no clue as ti what is going on. Crawl back in your hole.......mole.

Go into one of the few offices open on Christmas Eve and you’ll label yourself as a pest. The docs, staff, and patients don’t want to be there. You’ll just slow down their day and they will resent you for that. But that might not be they case in select neighborhoods in NYC and Miami.

Use the time to work from home, catch up on paper work; plan your first three weeks of 2019, schedule appointments in 2019, send thank you and Holiday packages to existing and prospective customers. Just a few thoughts.....,,
