All the 'white folks' that voted for Trump are Racist?!? Does that make it easier for you to process them by putting 60-odd million in a nice simple box??

I'm 1st generation Columbian/Honduran ancestry, and I voted for him. Am I racist too? Should I do what you do and stereotype all of the millions that voted for Hillary? I guess I could say that ALL of those people were idiots and were glossing over what was arguably 'criminal conduct' discovered during the FBI investigation of her... but I can't make that statement, because there were a multitude of different reasons people voted for her- including because she wasn't Trump.

What about the people that voted for Trump that aren't poor whites....are they racist too and blame their success on 'brown people'?

I understand the emotion generated by this topic, and you certainly are entitled to yours...but recognize that whenever you make silly blanket statements devoid of critical thinking(like Hillary did), you marginalize any credibility you think you have.

If you want to cite some evidence to back up your claims, then post it. A simple look at the demographics of those who voted for Trump will tell you they come from all walks of life. You may not like that, but it’s true.

You’re going to have to quit being so angry at those who have different values and beliefs than you, and quit trying to put them all in one group that speaks negatively about their character. It makes you look pretty silly, and it weakens any argument that you might be trying to make. Attack them on the issues, as opposed to trying to invalidate their opinion by attacking their character. A sound argument stands alone on its own merit, regardless of who might be making it.

 

My sound argument is by supporting Trump, either you're a racist or you stand with a hell of a lot of racists.

Obama ruined any chance for a minority ever to get elected to the presidency for a long long time. People (white, black, purple, men, women and even the dead) voted for him not because he was most qualified but because he was black. Thats the only reason. I would LOVE to hear what qualifications you think Obama had prior to being elected...put another way, what leadership experience and accomplishments that you feel justified him being ready for the most powerful position in the world. Put another way, write down specific accomplishments that Obama had in his life prior to being President, and then write down what Trump has accomplished prior to becoming President. Keep the personal drama out of it, because if you go down that road, we can bring up Clinton, Bush 43, Kennedy, etc etc. .

Where do I begin? President Trump is, by far, the most effective, successful leader this country has seen since Reagan. I am keeping more of my paycheck which I love. I resent the he!! out of taking care of those who can but refuse to work. President Trump is for small government and individual liberties. He supports fewer government regulations. So do I. So am I. He favors religious freedoms and a strong national defense. So do I. I am not a racist because I support our current President. I am simply thankful.

 

Your tax cut is paid for on the backs of our children. It is funded by debt. It is also causing interest rates to rise.

Government regulation? What about the tariffs that are starting to tank our 401ks?

Regarding the tariffs - one point you need to acknowledge is that the constant theft of IP(intellectual property) from the US and other countries by China has been ignored for the past 25 years by this country and others. The lack of open trade with China, while we allow them unfettered access to our markets...has to stop. Like it or not, Trump is the FIRST POTUS to call China out on this. Does it hurt us at present? Yes. Are we doing this with the goal of resolving a long-standing imbalance/outright theft by China? Yes.

 

Well, my paycheck hasn't changed much since the tax cut. Heck, I have to now pay tax on the company car and other benefits because your dumb President's tax cut consider these benefits as income. I doubt the tax cut is helping you, it's rather hurting you. Come next year, your tax refund will be smaller.
