both were canned for compliance reasons. Both seem like nonsense but nonetheless fired. Biogen is a dump. They were done a favor if you ask me.

I know it was compliance but was it exactly? I’m kinda scared BIIB is looking for any reason to fire and avoid paying severance before the 2019 layoffs.

Layoffs in 2019? When, after the aducanumab readout?

Stop trying to drum up fear dumba** - get a life. Sorry you did not get the job with Biogen. Let’s see, they are backfilling, getting ready to launch another MS medication, and oh yeah...aducanimab read out early in 2020....troll somewhere else

I work at BIIB - have you actually READ the Adacunufail trials? I won’t do the homework for you but Wall Street does not lie. It is dead on arrival pal. Oh yeah the new MS medication in an already bloated market place. Get the wax out of your ears and hear the music. Why do you think anyone talented is looking tobor has left????

KH was caught reading confidential patient information of some sort and KM I still can’t figure out. Sounds like he was railroaded. KH was a monster and her teams couldn’t stand her. Now if we can just get rid of KG in the northeast that would be a huge win for this company. She is by far the worst manager on this planet let alone here at Biogen. But she always always always survives somehow.

You can’t be this naive! You must be new to BIIB. In case you are new and not a naive simpleton remember March 2018 when we backfilled roles and we’re getting ready for POAs and BOOM. We had a small but significant layoff. Oh yeah the reps and RDs got a 2 week notice and joke of a severance. 2019 will be much larger. So keep on drinking the kool aid!

Couldn't agree more with this statement. I believe another rep on her team just quit. What does that make... three in 2018 alone?

Problem is the GM’s/SSD’s whatever you want to call them come in and out of this place like a revolving door. Hence she always always always always survives. But she’s perfect for this next phase of Biogen. Total show up and throw up, role playing freakoid who brings zero value to her people or her physicians. She defines the Biogen of today. Part of the loosercruiser that is this company. I’m so f’in out of here. Can’t stand the culture of this shithole any longer. Toxic to say the least.

Karen Grant is a TERRIBLE sales manager. Yet, perception is reality. She’s a minority woman, so she isn’t going anywhere. She has also been here for so long while others have already far surpassed her stratigically. She’s big pharma trained and doesn’t know any better. 90% of her teams past and present hate her with a passion. The other 10% were the lucky ones selected as her “pets” that she goes above and beyond for. One day someone above her will catch up to Karen’s scams. But until then, business as usual. If you work for her, just QUIT!

All the quality people left this company years ago. It’s now just crap

Speaking as a survivor of the KG management, I can honestly say it was the worst two years of my Pharma career. She is a nice enough person but a TERRIBLE sales manager is an understatement! How anyone with half a brain let's her manage ANY experienced rep is clearly not doing their job! The turnover under her is pathetic and her 90's sales model approach is laughable.

People are leaving again in another monster wave putting in notice today. I’m here 14 months and I cant believe what a terrible place this is. Lots of people use the word “toxic” well, they got that right. Can’t believe I need to leave here already but Biogen is far from a great place to work. I was fooled, and many people moving forward will be fooled also into coming here. Toxic toxic toxic is an understatement. Since I started it’s amazing, but 75% of “veterans” that people looked up to are gone and more are leaving every month. RUN from this organization it will be the best career decision you ever made!!
