Michael Jordan leaving was a big blow and we thought Scottie pippen could step up. Later Derrick Rose looked promising but his injuries cut his career short. Now they are just left without any star players or veteran leadership so they will be in rebuilding mode for the next 5 years or so until they can develop new talent
