I believe the theme of this merger should be "less":
Work Less, get paid less, care about your job less, get less benefits, less equity, less overall comp, less responsibility, less accountability....Just do less

i have never seen a company that asks less of its people, and pays in that fashion. Bard was successful for a reason, it pushed and rewarded individuals to achieve more. This company is killing that culture, and that will come through. Not right away, but over time, when all the people that drove to achieve, go elsewhere.

BD is too big to fail, but the people that can are going to leave, and there will be very few "A" talent left. This is why we never saw people leaving Bard to join BD in the past, it was simply a worse company, with a worse pay structure. It just had "Less."

What exactly are you referencing? Did you see the new comp plan? What division are you in?

The boys in Florida who got fired for double dipping would work well in the plan. Ryan is creating quite the name for him self and his associates at their place of employment . But since that company is under investigation it is only a matter of time

Top companies that should be looked - other than IRSG and Terumo?

One thing rings true- this isn't the same company and the talented HiPos need to leave. This is an entry level position that only those with 2 years out of college should be considering.

    that is certainly true.
every company has a different approach, and you just need to find the right fit. Bard was a high performing, high accountability, high paying, risk/reward. BD is more set up for someone who wants to do the minimum, hide, and just have a steady income. that is not to say that is wrong, just not what the average high performer at Bard is looking for.

Well, all I know is that the Endourology division of Bard is a complete joke now.

Anyone with half a brain can see that this division is finished. Another rep left this week - and PZ even sent an email to him saying "I hate to see you go, but I completely understand why you are leaving." What does that say about the state of things?

And it begs another question: How is the West District Manager still there? He's only got 4 reps right now, definitely not enough responsibility to justify him being there. No plans to hire anyone anytime soon. Dead weight should be let go.

What's even more interesting is now there are only 2 reps in the West. Why is that manager still here?

Bard Access leadership standardized base salary to 50k. First monthly commission checks came in and were under 3k for just about everyone. Expect a max exodus soon. No one is going to bust their ass for 86k a year when we could be making much more than that in base for any other company.

This isn’t accurate. There were salary adjustments. If you were an Access rep and stayed on access your salary stayed the same. If you went to the other bag your salary went up.

As for commission it’s as it always has been. We get paid to grow our business. Do your job and grow your business and you will get paid.

It is accurate if you were previously a BD rep. They lowered BD reps' base salaries dramatically. Also the rumbling is that the commission plan doesn't have as many dollar one product lines so therefore reps are not making as much money.
