Who the hell comes up with these crazy monthly sales goals? Goals go up every month even if your territory isn't preforming the way the company wants.

Keep raising the goals and putting commissions out of reach. That is a great way to motivate us to sell!

Your RSM has the ability to lower your goal by adjustment. That means you'll just have to kiss his or her butt. Goals for 2017 are going to be more aggressive than 2016. The expectations is 45% growth for 2017. I was told by my RSM that people are in for a big surprise this year. If we don't hit our goal in a 2 month period then we're put on a plan. Apparently Lowell called some RSM's this past month to give them one month to term their low performing TRS's. My RSM questioned him on this and Lowell told him that we are all "at will" employees, so they don't have to give any reason. This company is horrible. I'm on a final interview with another company. I counting the days on when I'm giving notice. I know a lot of other people interviewing too.

What will OI have when puraply goes off pass through reimbursement? This company has 10 months left before an implosion. Apligraf and Dermagraft are struggling to stay afloat. All the money is coming from an absurdly expensive porcine collagen. Good luck selling it after greedy wound centers aren't bilking Medicare out of thousands per application.

A 361 HCTp product that our SVP and upper management have been saying is inferior to our legacy products, is not evidenced based medicine, and should not be reimbursed by medicare.......wait that sounds like the current 11 year old product we just relaunched to stay afloat.

why does SM in SanDiego set the goals and why don't they ever share how they pull these numbers out of their *$$?
Wait, that would mean that they would have to admit they have no clue!

The quota process is one that no one will understand. What is certain is that we are expandable. The busiest department is training and HR. PIP's are given out like water at a marathon. Miss quota and automatically on a PIP given by some managers that were not able to sell in their own terrtiories. This is the best part, they couldnt sell and now are in charge of motivating and helping us. Lets see if the CEO's son gets on a PIP.

    YASSSS!

This is so true. There are maybe a handful of managers who are worth a damn at this place. The rest of them slept their way into their positions, and are quite certain they are the 'best salesmen' out there....

most sales organizations do not penalize you or put you on a PIP if you are 60-80% of goal every month. of course we all want to hit and exceed goal every month that is why we are in sales. everyone is stressed out wondering if I don't hit my number will I be put on a plan or have a job. 1 ADS basically tells you, you suck, work harder but she does not provide any support to help you. how she got in that position is beyond me and many others. i wonder if she realizes how much it costs to rehire and train new personnel.
this company does not seem to give 2 shits about anyone, we are only a number and if you are not hitting that number your gone.

get a clue corporate. Happy employees are more motivated to sell than stressed out ones.

Oh and Growth accelerator targets are now not enough if you hit them. Wait until you are told that the new expectation is to hit a stretch goal "or else!"

Seriously who comes up with these goals? 36-42% growth. this does not motivate us to do anything but look for a job that doesn't F you for your hard work.

Pretty obvious you don't belong with this company. A little too complicated for you? Can't quite figure out how to sell the best products on the market? Instead of worrying who is dating who, study your shit and learn to sell or go work for Mimedx. Dumbass

Let the wacky goal setting math begin.
Not even close to what it should be based on the the formula discussed on conference calls.

    Great job OI.
