How is Amag to work for? I see they have some new openings in the west but it seems like they have a big turnover?
This is a great company to work for. It feels like stepping back in pharma several years. Home office staff are very approachable. The product works very well and it has no side effect or risk baggage. The territories are often too large though to make a significant impact. I love having a product offices want. The biggest hurdle is losing scripts at the pharmacy because techs don’t run the script correctly. If this wasn’t happening, this product would really hit a good market share.
These are issues that have been going on since Amag bungled the launch of IR over a year ago. Fat base salary no support for the reps. There was a mass exodus out of the west a year ago due to a terrible and clueless manager and ineffectual and inept HR dept. Worse job I ever had.
1st 6 months of the launch were a hot mess, some house cleaning was done and some new leadership is on board- all good. Product is solid. Works and is really catching on. Things seem to be on the up
Does anyone have information on whether Amag is moving forward with filling the open territories in WA?
