A lot of reps have left because the base salary (about 60k) is too low and the insurance premiums are ridiculously high. It's good they have raised base salaries to 70k for folks coming in but it's not ok that they haven't increased the salaries of those who have been working here and have developed their territories from nothing. New people coming in get benefit of a higher more competitive salary and a territory that has already been cultivated by a previous rep who left because of the low pay.

Alamo needs to also renegotiate it's insurance premiums. They will never keep anybody if employees are paying almost a third of their pay a month for overpriced insurance. Alamo is a good company with some good folks but they need to make the salaries and insurance premiums more reasonable for ALL of the reps, not just new hires.

Who knows. Alamo is owned by Mission Pharmacal. Alamo and Bausch, formerly Valeant Pharmaceuticals are truly hard to figure out and I am sure it is done by design. This whole situation is shady so I'm not surprised if what you say is true.

You can find health insurance in absolutely different categories. Each category has a specific price, depending on the number and type of services provided. Of course, you can use the health insurance provided by the state. I believe that the state should take care of socially vulnerable citizens and provide them with the necessary assistance. The state can cover at least part of the cost of treatment. I would still advise you to choose private insurance companies. You can see at https://www.remedigap.com/medicare-supplements/medicare-plan-n-vs-plan-g/ how some health insurance policies differ.
