Why are so many AE's quitting? I would have thought a 3 day meeting in Bahamas would have prevented people from quitting.

Are you kidding. Two full days of fun in the sun and people are leaving. Stupid!

There's not going to be anyone left at the rate we are going.

During those 3 days in the sun, how much time do you really think we'll have to enjoy ourselves? Lets face it, people are leaving due to extremely poor management and continuous issues pertaining to monitors and billing. Its been the same problem for the past 8 years yet nobody does a damn thing. Our competition continues to slowly gain market share and if someone with a half a brain doesn't recognize whats currently occurring, the next meeting will be held at a Motel 6.

Number one reason people leave is due to poor management. This company believes they are exempt from that reality.

What "pallet" of lies will be wheeled out this year?

I just hope we do not have to do another show for management to take photos and laugh at us. I think they like to call it teambuilding?

They'll give us a night out at the beach with open bar expecting everyone to swallow all their BS. Capper along with many of the RSD's are nothing but shitcicles. Its time he along with his butt rangers move on to other adventures.

At this rate there’s not going to be anyone left to attend the NSM. It’s going to be a bunch of RSD’s flicking their “willies.”

Not to fear my friend, I know a few RSD's from past meetings that have "ladies of the evening" on speed dial. But then again, they still might be averted to playing with their own willie

You'll see more of the island thru a AAA trip tic vs. the actual NSM

Yes they do like us to perform like the peasants we are. Nothing really works smoothly but hey the management is so smart. We're just printing dough.

This is being shined up for an acquisition or merger at our expense.

The reason people are leaving is very simple

    1) Management (from the rsd level up) is horrific in many cases. Most shouldn't be responsible for managing people. Promoting great reps is fine if they actually are able to be good people managers... Many can't.. Some districts have had horrendous turnover and in the same territories. I see the same areas posting a position only for it to be posted again 4-5 months later. What is going on??? a good manager can keep reps even during tough times. I personally really like my manager but I have lucked out.

    2) Reps are given no cushion if something is not right, yet we as reps have to smile and not complain with every backorder, call center issue, broken devices and the rest of the issues.

    3) HR.. the guy has the moral backbone of a chocolate éclair.

    4) territories are continually being split to follow the pharma model.. Well let me say most territories are. Don't expect reps to be happy when they perform yet their territory is cut but golden boy (to be fair is he a nice guy) keeps his huge area making $$$$$ with his assistants, dedicated internal person etc

Advice to management - promote the real team player who sets up the 3 pointer and not the shooter who is in it for themselves.

Spot on my friend, especially the comment pertaining to HR. This guy is worse than the horny uncle that constantly shows up to the family reunions only to see how his nieces have developed.

We get tired hearing the same daily excuses evolving around the same problems, yet our RSD's are CLUELESS when seeking solutions. Lets face it, rarely do they ever provide any positive impact when out in the field other than picking up the lunch and bar tab.
