I've applied numerous times to positions and noticing Sanofi hiring bubbly women who have far less experience and education as me and my other friends who have applied!! We know who is essentially hired since we all call on the same offices. This is RIDICULOUS! The job qualifications are a complete lie when they end up hiring a bubbly young girl with less experience and credentials. I could post some names on here but my gosh based on their linkedin accounts, Sanofi is NOT hiring based on merits. Time to start emailing their CEO and put this company on blast. Oh, and also all the new hires have been female, young, bubbly and blonde. These are FACTS! HR and these hiring managers need to be ousted!

Listen up pal, consider Sanofi not hiring you, a blessing. A real gift. You should get down on your knees and say THANK YA JESUS.
Those bimbos will be gone by next Christmas. Sanofi is one of the most corrupt pharma companies that ever existed. They hire uneducated bimbos so Sanofi can manipulate them. Anyone with half a brain, would push back on their leadership commands, and that’s not who they’re wanting. Peace out.

Noticed same thing. Job posting had masters level preferred for the biologics and they hired a chic who majored in a non science or non business college degree. Clearly she didn't have anything beyond an undergrad degree. She also didn't have the experience. I was pissed

The simple fact is Sanofi won't pay money for you with extensive biologics experience. They'll hire the business forms delivery girl or the guy who worked retail at the Gap with a degree in horticulture. It's about money. Don't take is personally. Like one of the previous posts . Consider yourself lucky. You dodged a gang rape.

Sanofi/Genzyme paying good reps for reps essentially doing the same thing. Crazy

Please tell me why it matters who they hire for the job? What skill or expertise would you imagine they are seeking for driving in a car all day and entering info into a computer? I am also quite certain that if you lined up all the people that work as reps for Sanofi you would find an overabundance of a type but it is not the one you imagine. My guess is if you keep interviewing and improving your bullshit skills you also will get a job in Pharma. A blonde female beat you this time. Shit happens.

I think modeling agencies may be best recruiters for this business.

Lol, let me know how that works out for you.

Look, providers don't need to be detailed clinically on insulin glargine, and a monkey can hand some soliqua dosing instructions out and bring in lunch. Offices like friendly, bubbly people, sorry to break it to you. If you come from a clinical background try to get an in-house position with a local pharm/medical co.

Of course the managers won't hire people who actually can sell clinically or have any business sense. Managers here are dumb as rocks and afraid reps with higher business degrees or experience will take their job! This is fact. Many of us wonder how the hell these blokes got their position as a DM. They dont contribute smack and only hire younger reps in their 20's. Just look at all the new hires in the last two yrs or so! When sales plummet or district sales struggle, BLAME THE MANAGER WHO HIRED THESE YOUNGER REPS. Or better yet, start getting rid of these managers!

My manager is a great mentor and one of the many talented leaders here.

I'd have to agree w this post. Pharma and Sanofi particularly definitely does not hire based on qualifications! My district is a great example of this. It's no wonder why we rank in the bottom half of the company.

The person who said that you should be thankful that you didn’t get the job at Sanofi was right. I came to this company very excited about my job and with an open mind. The culture is very negative here and there is very little positive energy. It is corrupt and there’s a good ole boy system in some areas. I never thought I would be sending out resumes this early but here I am.

Are you sick?? It's people like you why sales do horribly. You sound a complete nutcase.

Completely agree. Less than one year at Sanofi and keeping an eye out for a better fit. Very fake “culture where employees matter” good ole boys leadership. My middle aged white male RSM does does not know how to log on salesforce online, does not know how to create an excel spreadsheet with the simplest of data and avoids any work or responsibility. It is embarrassing to work for him. I strategically plan my ride alongs to meaningless accounts to minimize his damage in my market. Mediocrity at its funniest in oncology.
