Stop posting this stuff! What are you trying to do educate the uneducatable?

They will never do what's right for the RSS's. Lead by fear.....the PIPsters!

And what demotivates employees today? No merit or cost of living increases, weak IC plan, secret stock grants, PIPs after one bad quarter based on new scripts only because total scripts do not matter at this company

Knowing that this is truely the bottom and there are companies out there that value their sales reps

It seems Opko values only a few, those reps who received the secret stock options. Even with this, Opko could have done better by giving them a merit increase instead. Cash is king!

We should not feel bad regarding the secret stock options handed out to a choice few. Why you ask? Simple, everything that opko does is calculated. It’s much more cost effective for them to hand out worthless stock as opposed to giving a raise. Today in after hours trading, OPK stock is down $0.68 due to the “Proposed Offering of Convertible Senior Notes”. So giving a raise to RSS’s (to your point) will cost them. They can hand us each 50,000 shares of stock. They are worthless now and in the future. Management does it again.

You are correct about the worthlessness of the stock options. However, it’s the perception of giving value to the select few RSS. The stock options they received may be worthless, but they are still the chosen ones, the protected, unlike the rest of us who have a PIP, or pink slip, in our near future.
