    My felllow CafePharmites,

I’ve been at Stryker for 4 years (marketing and sales) and I’m looking to move on. I’ve heard nothing but good things about Bard and I’m interested in getting into sales there. I need some advice, though. What’s the best division to be in? Who has the best products? What do the pay structures look like? I see tons of openings for BioSurgery, but that’s leading me to believe that the division is shit and there is lots of folks leaving.

    Any advice would be appreciated!

    Thanks!

Don't do it. They are just about to close the deal with BD. The leader for the Biosurgery team is an idiot, who likes to get hammered at every meeting and has no team loyalty. Not like Stryker.

Thanks for the intel. Sounds like a mess. What division at BARD would you recommend? I’m also interested in an access job opening in Ft. Wayne. What ca you tell me about that division? Products? Contract positioning? Competition? Etc.

    Thanks in advance!

Unfortunately, there are no good divisions with Bard anymore. Used to be a very good company and lucrative. Been with Davol division many years, Everyone is waiting for their stock options to vest in February and you will see a mass exodus across several divisions. JG screwed compensation 2 years ago and it’s only getting worse. The best talent has left for Terumo and others. New VP of sales is a Yes Man and surprisingly doesn’t look out for reps. But hey, he has 44 associate reps that would jump at the chance to make $120-$160K.

100% not Bard Endourology. Getting bit**-slapped by Boston Sci at HPG and Premier. Even Olympus, with their POS stents is faring better.
