Not impressed from the field side regional managers from the 1st round back in the fall.....generic answers to questions, new managers clearly not on the same page with each other, little eye contact, rambling answers as too why they joined the organization while trying to maintain a very stoic and blank tone....(which is code for not that bright) recruiting agency individuals were a bizarre crew as well....real leaders and organizations embrace individuals extensive backgrounds and more importantly sell you as a potential new hire onwhy you should be a part of what they are supposedly building...

not impressed at all with regional managers as well as the recruiting agency. Who were all over the map and clearly not in their element putting together a salesforce...both RMs were very aloof, generic and didn’t give one reason or genuine answer to a question...I love when you ask a real question and so called “leaders” can’t look you in the eye and and ramble for 5 minutes....both were clearly not on the same page...couldn’t even give a straight answer as too why they joined the organization!

I interviewed back in the fall and what a disaster! I interviewed with with the National Field sales director and regional mangers plus HR. Listen to this! I took a lot of time to prepare for this interview by researching the market, putting together a power point presentation, took a day off from work, traveled to the interview and i never hear back from the company after 4 hours of interviews i had!! I follow up with the regional sales manager in an email and the HR lady and no response. I email again asking where i sit in the hiring process, i mean just tell me yay or nay, and they say we like you and well be in touch as the next step is flying to the home office for a final round. 2 weeks go by, radio silence from Ultragenyx, and i email again, and the HR woman says i don't have an answer and is completely clueless. She says email me in 2 weeks, this is not a joke i swear. I then email her in 2 weeks asking whats the status and Im told they're in the process of offering a job to an Eastern Regional Manager and once thats done they will be in touch. I mean maybe you should have held off interviewing sales people before a regional was hired? 2 weeks go by again and I sent a direct email to HR lady and no reply, email to east regional manager, no reply to this day! Never dealt with such an unprofessional Organization. I mean to not even an email informing me i didn't get the job, or I did get the job. This is HR btw who didnt email, call or text me lol. What a mess that Company is and will be. My friends were telling me what a blessing it was not to be hired there and they're right as i would be leaving a good stable situation from a good company. Better off not going there and i believe it. I was like no way they can be successful as they cant even communicate or properly hire someone for their team. What a colossal waste of time. Trust me what a complete disaster! No way they can be successful as the Field Sales Director and managers seemed in way over their head.

Don’t know about shady, but definitely trying to be big league on a small budget. Hiring all kinds of positions they don’t need yet, but sound good to those building empires.

Generally hiring lower level people as they can’t / won’t pay to get the talent level they say they are looking for.

Interviewed. One person I spoke with just talked about themselves to the point I was literally in pain. I was going to do the hello where did you go hello oops end the call. Lol. Plus, they don’t pay well. Seriously though it was so painful listening to this person. Recruiter was odd too.

I agree. Recruiter was terrible. It is a contract with Publicis.
"Manager" had no management experience and they totally forgot to ask me anything about my background and experience.

Manage made inappropriate/snide/hostile/aggressive comment to me during interview. Very, very unprofessional.

I agree - Generally hiring lower level people as they can’t / won’t pay to get the talent level they say they are looking for. Manager has NO EXPERIENCE. No idea what to do or not do....

Also- I sat down with the manager. The money that was discussed was shockingly LOW. And the work demand that were discussed sound like they are almost undo able.

How does the sale of Publicis affect us???

Sale of Publicis explains a lot.
It appeared that the manager was looking for work for themselves. Very odd.
Also appeared that the recruiter was double dipping.

I checked out the 'manager's' profile on LinkedIn and she had lied.
That tells you a lot. It does look like she is looking for another job.

Sister claims she has been a manager for one year and two months.
Actually, I know her background and she has only been a manager for two months.
To me, it appears she might to be looking for a management position at a different company, so she 'bulked up' her Linked In profile. Just sayin'
