Really. How do they stack up to the competition?

they make 15,000 products . You have to narrow it down

Here is the bottom line. Storz makes a great product; however so does everyone else. It
doesn't matter, if you are talking video or instrumentation. Stryker, Olympus, Asculap, etc...Different sticker, same shit. If I had to give the edge to a video vendor it would be Stryker, but not by a lot. Asculap for instruments though.
Storz is a good commodities based company.

Are people still doing laparoscopy? HaHa.

The more important aspect is who will pay you the most to sell their product . With the new pay plan /commission cut it is not Storz . If you want to join wait a few months and there will be plenty of openings all over the country in every division . Stupid millennials move to the top of the list .

So you are saying is the marketplace is highly competitive, but Storz can compete with anyone. You just have to actually sell it, because it doesn’t just sell itself.

Others think Storz doesn’t pay enough.

    Good observations.

On the flip side, if you’re a good rep with solid contacts in the right places and are satisfied with the comp plan, you can do well with Storz oroduct.

STORZ has the best video on the market hands down, but this is so heavily dominated by SYK and such a lack of innovation in other products. Aside from Video, storz is not the leader in anything- market share or technology wise... it's off the blood sweat and tears of the reps who are smart and have an entrepreneur mind set who can succeed. Called an endo company, and do not even have a portfolio to compete with Olympus on any flexibles. Their distal chip image is 100% better in many more size offerings, across numerous specialties..... and again its based on the the reps abilities to win deals. Which is fine, it's sales! but when the pay is taken away from that it ruined this place. With real talent exiting, and mid to low level candidates joining, the losses will begin to add up quickly when the commodity STORZ sells is neither the leader in technology or market share.. Execs/management in cushy high salary jobs, not valuing the people keeping them in those positions (reps) ... no one willing to speak up or stir the pot for solutions. They don't care and have made it clear.
