Why NNI is refusing to promote women

    I think NNI has done an outstanding job at promoting females. In fact, I’d even say there’s a slight bias towards hiring and advancing females/minorities.

    There are some really stupid people on here and in management at Novo male and female! I can't figure out why we have to many managers here, majority of the time they come up with trackers just to make themselves look good or they kiss the rbds ass so much in order to justify their jobs!
    Novo want to save some money? Cut the manager postitions in 1/2!

    I think there’s a “I hate my manager” thread elsewhere that you’ve already been ranting on. That’s not the topic we’re discussing here. Run back to that other thread so you and your friends can tackle those big issues of having your manager with you once a month and having to fill out spreadsheets.

    Most would agree here. White women benefit most from affirmative action. Racial minorities not so much. NNI has a problem with promoting minorities, not women. look around this place.

    If minorities are qualified, they will get promoted. Current society pushes nearly every advantage their way. Claiming victim hood now rings hollow...

    Not my comments you responded to, but if you’d like to give a few examples of minorities who were passed over despite being the most qualified for the position, please share them. Otherwise, you’re just making false accusations (and really broad assumptions about people you know nothing about). I’ve heard arguments like yours before, but I rarely see the facts on your side.

    White victimhood is what won the election for Trump in 2016. When you have a superior place in society, equality is a threat.

    Wow this just got political, for your information, Trump won because he was the best candidate and still is! These Democrat, liberal, "socialists", do not speak for me as a woman, nor as a person of color. Oh I stand by my choice and heritage proud!

    As for Novo Nordisk the reason want are not promoted is because we still have the good old boy club in charge! You ain't got a dick, you don't move up!

    Or, crazy thought, people didn’t like the politics of Hillary Clinton. She hasn’t been the most popular person in the world, even in her own party. And, I guess those 6% of African Americans who voted for Trump must also claim ‘white victimhood’? You need a new argument, man. This one isn’t working for you.

    And, just so you know, people who aren’t racist really don’t like or appreciate being called racists. Until Democrats (and you) recognize that it’s a bad idea to call someone a racist simply because they disagree with your political views, you’ll keep losing elections. Seriously - you lost the last one to Donald Trump. If you can’t beat him, who are you going to beat?

    I have also been in the industry 20 years and have had two female managers. One was at NNI. She was the best!
