Is it true that nearly everyone in HR in MA who was here six months ago has left the company?

Yes. And NJ as well. Those in NJ were offered to stay and move to Cambridge. Almost all said “no thanks”

It's nothing to do with the company. This was to be expected. When you consider the cost/time to move, sell your home, take 6% realtor fees, cost to move.... find a house, move your kids/family, spouse might have to find work... live in an area where your dollars are worth less, same pay...higher taxes.... plenty of opportunities to remain in NJ. Ipsen should be viewed as a new startup in MA

About 8 HR employees left in Cambridge last summer.

yes big turnover in HR; only mildly related to the move to Cambridge. there was already a good sized team in Cambridge, but most left. Same for NJ team. Has to do with HR leadership. Look at when new VEEP came on board and when people left in droves.... you’ll be able to reach your own conclusion.

Two reasons not to move: New England winters and who wants to root for the Patriots? Bunch of cheaters

Has HR settled down at all or still a revolving door? looks like a good company to get into, but am cautious about what I hear re: HR .

consider this company a new startup, they moved, all new people, new vision. If the manager is good and you find it a good fit you should be fine
