I didn’t say if you were in Pharma you can’t sell. I’m saying don’t stay too long in the industry because outside of the industry it’s”Pharma Reps need not apply”. Why is that? Because the industry has earned the reputation of non selling , lunch feeding, script reading clones. I was in the industry 35 years with UpJohn, The original Wyeth, Ciba, Glaxo and others you would know. It’s embarrassingly see where we are today. Just the changes in Lundbeck are sickening. No the industry is full of smart individuals who have clung on to an outdated concept in an industry better served with technology from AI. The personal delivery of info is almost useless and archaic.

You seem as if you weren’t able to stick around very long at any of your laundry list of companies that you worked for...

Yes what a dirty laundry list of companies For me the longest stay was 10 years st Glaxo. Sad thing like everyone else you have to move around to stay employed and avoid layoffs. Thank Pfizer-for starting the Christmas layoff trend 15 years ago. Regardless Pharma reps are smart enough to see the trends and adjust careers to keep a paycheck coming in despite the industry. The painful truth is there won’t be many people with 30 plus years in the industry if you are just getting your career started. New technologies will give new opportunities. Detail men and women are not necessary anymore.

will Dunsire make an announcement of some type? Will she even show up? Will the idiots in the audience give her a “standing O”? Will they go over our “pipeline”? Will we have disgusting Mexican food for lunch? Will Max have a new and wonderful patient profile for us?

Stay tuned, it will all soon play out. Also, if you have any good recruiters to share, I’m sure there will be plenty of people that will love to get the names! Now where did I put my Starfish?

The best thing I ever did was resign from lundbeck. I can't imagine sitting at another useless national meeting when there is absolutely nothing in the pipeline to sustain the company going forward for the future. I absolutely feel sorry for everyone that has to attend the meeting next week going through all of the mindless role playing again. I feel sorry for all of you guys. I just hope. Everyone will see after Luna that it's time to find another career and get out.
I hope everyone enjoys the meeting!

Thanks for leaving. You’re awesome in every way and smart doesn’t even begin to define you.

Give yourself a big fat pat on the back because you’re the winner your mommy always said you could be.

Yes, the meeting will be useless. Yes, there is nothing in the pipeline, as we all know, and we know that another lay-off is coming. Yes, all day Tuesday is role playing as expected. They can’t come up with anything that will really be of help, so we role play. We are all buying time until we find something else. It’s just another box to check on the way out.

Read what the poster said again. Never said that anyone was dumb or that they were smart. Just that they were happy they resigned and didnt have to go to another useless, mindless meeting like all of us that are still here. Looks like you are the dip shit!

the posters “new” job must not be that great or they wouldn’t still be posting on the board of their former employer.

Now why do you say that Sparky? I left awhile ago, am loving life and I check in every so often to see how else the company has shot themselves in the foot, who left, and if the ditzy blonde RBD is still around.

Too funny...yes, she is still here. We are all in Orlando at LUNA pretending to be excited we work here. I am glad that you escaped. I love seeing your posts. Glad to have you back on the boards!

Touchy touchy. Seems like someone wants out but can't find another avenue. I for one check in on occasion to hopefully hear some good news of others being able to get out. I do look upon my time fondly for the most part at lundbeck. It was a good Midwest company with little expectations. So easiest money I ever made

Seriously, 52 new hires in Psychiatry since November? Why is that? Because no one wants to work here.
