Laboratory business segment

    I applied for a laboratory business segment position. Where can I find more information about this position other than the job requisition. I am a displaced Pharma rep due to a contract not being renewed. This appears attractive but I am interested in knowing pros vs cons. Thanks

    Get on LinkedIn. Find a Cardinal lab rep. Reach out. People in the lab division have more tenure than any other division. I personally wouldn’t hire a pharma rep though. You guys don’t take initiative. Point proven

    I work in the lab division. It’s really not an entry level sales job as there are over 80k products and the technical nature of lab is not easily learned. I worked in pharma over 10 years ago (NNI) and it did not really teach me anything that helps in this role. Reach and frequency, 30 second details, and closing on every call are BS in this sales environment. Connect with a lab rep on LinkedIn and do some research on how an acute lab operates and you might have a shot. Good luck.
