Wow some people on here are bitter. Bitter because you were made to leave a good organization, or bitter because you’re just a bitter bunch of people. Grow up and move on

From how I read this thread there are people trying to make employees, facilities, and corporate aware of how things are truly being ran in that distributorship. People tired of them getting away with how they treat their employees, facilities, and contacts. I have yet to read anything on here that isn’t true.
I don’t think you have bitter people here, I think you have people wanting to warn their next victims as well as confirm what people were already questioning.

Everything is insanely accurate in this post!!! I worked for this organization in some capacity and made the plunge to a competitor. It was the absolute best decision I ever made. I work with very realistic people, I make way more money, I have far better benefits, I am not nickeled and dimed on my expenses. I am way happier and far more successful!!! I believe in where I am and we are a far better operation. I am extremely motivated now where I developed anxiety issues working there with so many levels of stress. I no longer work insane hours, but do know the rewards of my hard work unlike with this distribution. I feel I have a purpose other then being a working body. I see it in our clients eyes how well we outshine ZBOS in every way possible. Some of my former colleagues left and went to work in other territories for Zimmer direct, they too are far happier then before!!! I have had numerous doctors share communications of desperation from this organization with me and it lets me know how blessed I am to have walked away! I have been involved in various conversations within our local industry and the attention this has attracted is very real. At this point I see no positive way the current leadership can ever restore any integrity within the community they represent!

Short stack should know ZB legal team can’t pull lawsuits filed off the web. At least they won’t be anonymous filings.

I looked at this yesterday and there were 10 pages and today there are barely 9. Posts are being deleted which is a sad thing, people should know what is going on in this territory. I have yet to read anything that isn’t true.

i remember when stallings ran this territory those were the good days.back when unless your father in law was named sweet he would hold your sales as soon as he hit his target numbers with corp to make sure we didn't get bonuses but his were always paid out.that was fun times asking why we didn't hit our sales numbers and find out it was because he'd hold POs for months to make sure his fat ass got as much $ as he could to pay his girlfriend and go to vegas

yall are a bunch of babies

i remember the stallings days. the days where people didn't quit and get fired on the regular. where the employees actually had a voice and weren't construed as a negative person and belittled if they had something to say. back when sweet was still using biomet product. mo & js have single handedly pushed the majority of previous biomet employees out. whether they have fired them or the employees left. as an employee that worked for stallings and works for os, take me back to the good ole days when we were left to get our job done and not micro managed to the point of making showing up for work everyday a job in itself.

It's official, we've been told to be quiet. I knew it was a matter of time before they attempted to silence us. The way things go around here is is ridiculous. The "leadership" team makes a comment to someone not on the leadership team and then next thing you know the whispers start and has spread through the building. It's amazing how nothing get's relayed directly from the "leadership" team it's always through the mill because they can't keep things to themselves to be announced properly. When is the "leadership" team going to realize they have a mole actually more than one? There is a reason everyone already knows what it is going on before they make any formal announcements.

Ever heard the saying- it can always be worse?

You could be in NC (Barnet) dist, now that is the true dumpster fire of all ZBH.

Hear you and feel your pain
ZBH is just a terrible place to work since right before the merge for both sides
Hopefully a reset will be done soon with our acquisition by Medtronic or whatever other behemoth that needs a foot in the ortho door

YES. It’s like how they hired a sales rep this month that has been permenantly kicked out of a hospital and no one tells us that, but there enough talk going around that we hear about it but aren’t supposed to say anything about it. If you are going to hire someone with a sketchy past at least tell us so that we know and don’t have to wonder about if what is being said about them is true. When googled he has his own LLC and our “leaders” made it clear with an email last month that sales reps are not allowed to sell for other companies. His linkedin clearly states he is a distributor for another company. TELL US THIS STUFF SO WE KNOW HOW TO RESPOND WHEN QUESTIONED BY OTHER PEOPLE.

Does Barnett attempt to manipulate you to lie in order to keep your job and when you don’t fall for it they fire you? That’s the kind of sick games going on in our territory. It’s only a matter of time before any one of us say the wrong thing and are pruned also.

I’ve really tried to stay away from this thread, everyone has been talking about it... I stayed away from it for quite a while until this weekend. Reading through this thread and the ZB Ortho Solutions thread I’ve really had to sit back and reflect on these posts. I usually don’t have much to say or at least keep my opinions to myself, but after it was strongly implied we not speak to anyone no longer working with the company it just hit me as so wrong. I bite my tongue day in and day out but the way they treat employees is exactly as described in these posts, I would have jumped over a comptitor by now but due to the blanket noncompetes they put in front of us with no option but to be signed or unemployed, I was not able to get my deal worked out in time. Does anyone know if these are valid? They say that we were compensated for them and blanket locations outside of our territory.

“ we will go broke trying to hold them to a non-compete”. If enough of the associates get tired of the crap, you all should walk and break them.

Once you fall out of favor the lies start. If you leave, the lies start. If the right people left they would be screwed.

Don’t think it hasn’t been discuss amongst all of us who feel they cornered us. They stand on a pedestal they have the best culture in the country. If people really knew the culture around here it might come as a surprise. Anyone who reads these threads know how bad it is.

Has JA been permanently kicked out of a facility and did he just sign on with them in February? I believe they are talking about LB.

They only enforce certain people’s noncompetes. They pick and choose. If you work for zimmer then take half your business to paxeon, they won’t enforce it. They’ll even rehire you. All the employees won’t leave the people that don’t work for ZB anymore ALONE. It’s a plotted scheme in one area. they need to be let go. No need to enforce short stacks noncompete after term.

Just use the proof you have they sell side lines and you are good to go. Any judge will throw it out as they are in violation of the contract themselves. I wouldn’t hesitate.... if you have business you are bringing over you can probably get a free paid year off if you are really worried. Talk to your surgeons ASAP.
