another one bites the dust in Oregon. District is down to 1. Seriously, does no one at AZ notice something wrong here?

once upon a time, there was a thriving successful region. There was collaboration, thinking outside the box, and empowering employees. People valued their leaders. Then one day, a new leader came in. Optimism of a continued positive culture soon died. A dark cloud of fear fell over the region. Motivation and development came to a screeching halt. One could hear crickets on conference calls. great and skillful reps and dsms fled and entire districts became vacant, Their positions only to be filled with lackluster contract reps. Review of an Article ended and the drive to improve oneself was replaced with a paralyzing fear of performance improvement plans and performance layoffs. Now the successful launch of new products fell to tenured, fearful AZ reps too busy getting temporary contract reps up and running, hastefully learning their territories and customers and resenting the loss of their managers or teammates, while the competition's share of voice grows. AZ used to be a great place to work. The end.

You should be manager, show her who’s boss.

Wow! Are you serious?! ONE person in a district?! You’d think AZ would get a clue. Probably not though since they don’t care about the field sales people anymore, or at least they sure don’t act like it!!

at least 2 weekly regional skypes by SD would make this a great place to work. she is getting rid of everyone so that she can be the dsm and cbd of the region. this was her plan all along. success!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    ^^^^^^^
Not only region with major problems but all seem to have the same problems caused by the same kinda leadership. Sad what AZ has become. Unfortunately not much can be done until top management is purged and more competent people are in charge.

Hard to do when they just keep shuffling the deck with same old same old so called leaders. Anyone that tries to step up is squashed. Loser DSMs don’t lead or provide any new thinking - started by Hardy to “kickass” as the strategic selling vision. Get up - Kick ass - repeat. What? What does that mean? So much checking boxes and nooooooo actual thinking. Let numbers do your ranking for you. One quarter - you are a STAR and you are kicking ass - next quarter you are told you need to kick more ass. Insanity. Best is focus on “everyone in the field”. Let’s squeeze the EBD, RBD, DSM and me into same office trying to “outsell” each other. The self boasting of who did it better. Meanwhile customers could care less and fewer and fewer will participate in the dog and pony show off. Seattle isn’t alone. It’s sad but I make over $100,000 with bennies...
