I’m a newbie and haven’t been through one of these. Will they bring on Amarin reps or should we feel safe?
I would be worried if in cardio...Amarin has a very senior sales team with multiple years in cardio. Amarin won't even look at reps without multiple national sales awards. Very very senior team and we could use the leadership.
Are you talking about the same Amarin? Everyone I know there is new to pharma or coming from contract. They just did a huge expansion and hired everyone at like $70k
in my experience during an acquisition, they don’t take the time to go through everyone’s experience with a fine tip comb. They either roll people in or let everyone go. Overall, Amarin has very inexperienced reps compared to Novartis. I really do not think they would keep a sales force that the majority has less than a year of experience
Managers on the Amarin side are not aware of the company being sold. I came on here to find out more. Sad when I have to come on cafepharma to find out my job status.
