They went after DePuy on that one. Any truth to what they are spewing?

Besides all the facts, it’s all fake news!

At least the attune baseplate isn’t poisoning people now.

That company is a stain on this industry.

Highlights what a POS Gorsky is and what a terrible company J&J is. The Credo is just a sign on the wall that no one ever reads or abides by. He thinks he is so honest and an exceptional leader and the truth is he knows how bad some of the products the company is producing and selling but only cares truly about the stock price and his exit plans, not the people who get our products.

But is there anything with the accusations of Co poisoning? That would ultimately shake up the entire industry. Of course the makers of the piece went straight for JNJ and hardly mentioned other companies. How many class action are being spun up now with patience blaming their impulses on High levels of Co. can’t wait to see the first time a defense attorney uses it as an excuse for committing an illegal act. “His knee made him do it”...

Silicon Nitride should be able to solve this as Amedica owns the patents for both implants that employ the PEEK insert as well as patents for Silicon Nitride on Silicon Nitride, similar to the benefits of Metal on Metal without the metallosis. In the mean time everyone can enjoy the lawsuits as the blood work results come in. Definitely going to cause an uptick in consumer awareness thanks to Netflix. Thanks Netflix.

You have no understanding of what happened with ASR. Look into ASR more to understand where those high metal levels came from. Silicone Nitride is a sales pitch nobody wants to hear anymore. Maybe there is something different but it’s a ceramic, and Amedica has no idea how to sell it or market it. Plain and simple. Even low balling current pricing can’t get the Hospitals to force surgeons to use it....

I don’t care how strong the fracture tests show. I don't want a Ceramic anywhere near my spinal cord. Plain and simple.

You seem really mad about all of this and I`m not sure why. I`m sorry bro. Just thought it was a fun video showing the strength of the material. Maybe you can send him samples of whatever you got going and he can crush that too?

Its all very true. Depuy knew about ion release and toxicity in 1995 before they really started. Have minutes of 95 meeting. And the REAL failure rates are treble what the registrys state. Open your eyes.

Metal ions come from wear : arc of acetabular too shallow: major problem with corrosion etc etc. Basically very flawed design rushed to market with no clinical trials. There was no standardisation of engineering no standardisation of metal alloys used and sales people who blindly sold the devices to unsuspecting surgeons. Everybody was lied to. Look at "the end game "by graham isssc.

It is very true....there are recorded deaths in medical journals due to co/cr/mo alloys. Also from other hip manufacturers.
