Novartis San Carlos TechOps

What's happening at Novartis San Carlos manufacturing site? Last I head through the grapevine was that the deal with Mylan Pharmaceuticals fell through last spring but person in charge at site lied to employees that the there was ever a deal? Great leadership and trust in senior leadership....

 

Doesn't surprise me. Leadership team at site have always been a bunch of morons. Favoritism was and is rampant but what else would you expect from Novartis. JR is definitely better than OE but needs to get some backbone, especially with holding people accountable...MAN UP!!!

 

This place is a manufacturing site wanna-be. Glad OE is gone. He hardly ever came to our morning mfg. stand-up meetings and the QC folks said he never went to their morning QC meetings, but he claimed he was "a good leader" (go figure). I always saw him at his desk with his apple earbuds in his ears when I walked by the area. I guess he thought he was learning to be a good leader through osmosis from his podcasts. Hopefully, the NJ site folks are smart enough to see through the BS...

 

What do you expect...they promoted the wrong people and junior level people into higher level roles at the site for "developmental purposes", especially the ones who sucked up to OE. That's the Novartis way of doing things!

 

Yeah, ASSama promoted uur great OpEx leader to the Leadership Team even though ASSamma knew how he mistreats people and has a serious lack of self-awareness. ASSama loves those who suck up to him and drinks his kool-aid BS. BTW...can anyone ever find our Quality Director on Friday’s?

 

LOL! So right! Look at all the idiots on the leadership team...and liars. "We are not selling the site", but not telling us when they had a buyer. They're all complicit....

 

Doesn't surprise me...I heard they moved him out of the site after being made aware of some of his shenanigans.

 

This company sucks all the way from operations to sales and everything in-between. Vas needs to re-imagine himself out of Novartis so we can start with a clean slate.

One was a nice place to work has been changed to a non-factor in the manufacturing word. Too Bad....Great People can only take so much.

 

What the heck is this comment about?Hope it doesn't strike you. The San Carlos site is also doomed. Novartis wants to get rid of all their sites in the US it seems with all these divestments. Except for the new golden child Avexis. I wonder how long MP- Morris Plains will remain the way they are until that too will be struck. Its just too expensive to maintain. Aren't they planning to move that or at least part of it to their flagship over in Switzerland? What's the latest scoop?

 

Ah... the truth about Mylan buying the San Carlos site that was rumored in 2017 finally comes to fruition. Now all of us know that ASSama lied to our faces all the time when we asked him about it. Glad he's long gone. Can't trust our site leaders and can't trust our HR personnel. I am hoping Mylan will clean house of some of our site leaders...

 

Heard Ass-ama got what he deserved and was shown the door so he went to Lanza. Guess he wasn't the great leader as his ego was telling him...what a moron.
