Base pay range

What is the base range that your recruiter quoted you?

 

No where near where it needs to be

The recruiter that called me flat out bs’ed about the pipeline. Did they not think I would look at the website?

Ouch - entry level pay

 

That's a decent range these days, even in specialty. Just saw a Urology position advertised for a $65-85 base, in L.A. where the cost of living is high.

 

You obviously aren't familiar with pharma salaries, whether PC or specialty

 

Does the company offer car or car allowance?

No money is nearly enough to work for this shitty company. Management is the absolute worse; hateful, self-righteous, and couldn't give a damn what works in the field, just follow their no-good , useless rules.

 

I had expected that after the ouster of the former VP of Sales, Tony Chambers, back in 2017 and the exit of the CEO, and especially after the acquisition where the old Keryx name was dropped in favor of Akebia, things would have changed for the better. But appears that the terrible Keryx legacy continues under a new name. Like putting lipstick on a pig, I suppose.

 

I was told up to 150k but only in special circumstances with experience and relationships.

 

Theres a formula people. Dependent on experience, relationships, years in specialty. Never take 1st offer. Negotiate.

$120-130 is about right if you make that now but most people make under $100 base. There are a few 150s. Hardly anyone is make bonus. Car allowance SUCKS!
