Who is the worst manager you have ever worked for past or present?

    DSM here. Managers are managed by fear as well. Calibrated just like the reps. I know of managers managed out and put on performance plans. You don't hear of it much, but there has been some.

    If you are still at GSK, you have no ability to get a real job or you really, truly don't care and enjoy doing the absolute, bear minimum to collect a mediocre paycheck. I think the managers who are still left here are THE WORST offenders in that algorithm.

    Sounds like reverse psychology to me. Thankfully, I only worked with Jacqui indirectly. I know her entire team is miserable under her management. Hopefully, it'll catch up soon enough before more good people leave.

    GSK loves to micro manage reps which just kills motivation and enthusiasm. The executives at GSK set the tone and front line managers just magnify it. It is a horrible place to be a rep.

    I don’t think JJ is “purging “ people based on skin color, if she is then shame on her. I think she is one of those people who lets a little power get into her head and she feels superior. Ask anyone in Chicago who had her as an SEC and they will tell you she is a completely different person now that she is a DSM. Read up on what great leadership looks like and JJ is the polar opposite. She makes it her goal to make your life miserable and she basically tells you that. I suspect it is because she is unhappy in her own life and doesn’t know how to cope other than lashing out at others.

    Yes I would agree with that statement. What a box of ROCKS. Brain Dead sales representative and no personal life out of company. Strange person. Needs to get like 10 cats to make her life complete! Sorry for the people that like cats they deserve better.

    I have not worked directly for him but Brian Ferguson has been my FVP multiple times and he is just awful. This guy brings nothing to the table, he has no original ideas, no emotional intelligence, no personality and makes the worst hires when it comes to FLL. If he was a rep he would have received a 4 and been let go in the reorg, somehow he survives as an FVP. Richard Lewis , I know you read this , you cannot think this guy brings any value to GSK.

    She seems very unhappy. I think she is aware of her limited talents as a leader and compensates by bullying to the point where people quit. Pretty sure her goal is to makes others miserable, somehow derives satisfaction out of doing that. Really has no business leading anything. Watch her at the next meeting, I promise you will be embarrassed by her incompetence.

    JJ and BF - they get off on seeing their names on Cafe Pharma - they boast that “people can’t take straight talk!” CN is a little clone whose only skill is managing up - she has never had the sales as a rep and is completely incompetent. GSK has lost all vision with these 3 classless people.

    Okay BF here is some “straight talk” , stop with the damn fire drills over speaker programs and frequency right after a reorg. Hands down you have to be the most inept leader currently at GSK. You bring absolutely nothing to the table as a leader.

    Had BF once and agree, he was absolutely worthless. Rarely engaged the field and brought nothing to the table.
    AD in respiratory is a cold hearted, evil bitch- Karma is coming for her in a big way- can’t wait to see her demise- there is a special place in hell for this bitch. When FVP is done using her she will be discarded like everyone else but she’s too stupid to see that- everyone hates working for her
