They've been chasing that rabbit down the hole for a dozen years with little to show for it.The PET project epitomizes the Lantheus Way!

Where did Lantheus find the new head of HR? I have been in a few meetings with her and she is so self righteous, rude and stuffy. Her favorite word is “I” and she is very good at cutting down her team. Put down your phone and engage with he people.

Must be the new Lantheus Way - the Head of IT is also rude, cuts down her team, always looking at her phone and taking personal calls during meetings. She rarely works 40 hrs, i
nvites selected staff to go shopping for 2-3 hrs during working hours.

This product is small potatoes and getting smaller. Product prep is too cumbersome and expensive and will likely be replaced by the next new thing by the time it ever gets approved. The smartest thing they did was to get something for it by out licensing.

Which is also why GE spent so much getting it. $5 million?

$5 million is chump change in big pharma

Are the Lantheus sales reps still hanging out in the hospital cafeteria's and recording them as sales calls? Vendor credentialing has made specific appointments difficult to say the least and I see the Lantheus reps are pretty creative. Panera Bread is a pretty popular sales call as well.

Their sales force software was a joke, the guy who administered it had no clue...

During my time at Lantheus I believed there was some decent individuals to work for and to work with. Unfortunately, over time, Lantheus was gutted of those individuals and all that is left is a "bunch of manure selling sales folks with mouths full of samples"!

You can ''fill in the blank" with any department name and reach the same conclusion. Very few employees with integrity remain.

    From the press release:
"Lantheus will receive a USD 5 million upfront cash payment and, if successful, up to USD 60 million in regulatory and sales milestones payments, plus double-digit royalties on U.S. sales and single-digit royalties on sales outside of the U.S"

BEWARE, BEWARE. I see Lantheus is soliciting professionals for MSL positions to support the recent acquisition of an oncology product. If you are considering a long term career I am almost 98% certain it's not going to come to fruition and will be ephemeral at best. Lantheus history of MSL's with their nuclear product, ultrasound contrast and MRI contrast medium has left a lot of very experienced and tenured professionals in the rearview mirror. You will be courted as the "second coming" of clinical support only to develop the market place and to be cast aside due to patient expiration, poor planning and lastly the sales managers will tolerate you to the point they feel the territory sales representatives can handle your responsibilities - sales has a remarkable way of massaging the responsibilities of Medical Affairs. Remember, you are a non-revenue producing entity. If you are considering this position as a stepping stone to something bigger and better, you are tired of clinical work or you just need a job by all means "use them while they are using you"!

    Best of Luck!

Spelling correction to the previous thread should read ..."patent expiration not patient expiration"
