Some big news today...yikes.....now they just have to get rid of the rest of the ET and start fresh. Will be interesting to see if there is a big lawsuit where more info is released.

continually dipping his pen in the company ink...and within his reporting structure....this comment seemed to sum it up:

"This is hilarious, everyone and I mean everyone knew Mr. Smith is a scoundrel who's personal dalliance was a common known at Vertex.

The big question is what tipped the scale against the narcissistic, arrogant & condescending Mr. Smith. Karma is wonderful but let's not feel too sorry for our boy Ian he is walking away with a massive amount of money & likely a large severance package if nothing else to keep his mouth shut about others in the good old boy network at Vertex."

I WISH THOSE F**KERS AT HQ WILL GIVE US IN THE FIELD MORE DETAILS.

WHEN ONE OF US GETS FIRED FOR SEXUAL INDISCRETIONS WITH THE DOCTORS, THEY ARE QUICK TO LET EVERYONE KNOW THE HOW, WHY, WITH WHO.

    EVERYONE CALLS EVERYONE

BUT NOW THAT IT IS ONE OF THEM - SILENCE !!!!

    SO MUCH BULLS*IT.
    THAT SMITH IS A CHARACTER.
    CALL A SPADE A SPADE, A DUCK A DUCK

    So...what actually happened here?
What was so bad that he had to resign from Vertex and practically disappear into oblivion?

He apparently had sexual relations with I presume a female member of his staff, but who knows if that is the real reason he is out....regardless both he and his admin were terminated from the company within a month of each other

Ian was the last unpretentious and warm hearted executive.

Unconscious bias is high with the pointy-headed, liberal, “intellectual” crew.

I don’t believe that.. I think with all the metoo crap going on, that’s what they want people to think.

I think the real answer is directly job related— accounting fraud, channel stuffing, something of that nature.

His long time admin/confidant/mother/inappropriate professional relationship was released from the company a month prior to this announcement /public execution.......she used to wield the power from that relationship brutally so for her to be bounced and then him to be bounced in such short order seems highly suspect

it was known for years that he was a big womanizer...while it might have been something else as well, it wouldn't surprise me if the guy who wanted to pretend to be James Bond got caught up in something that was a career ruining event.
