What's wrong with Spectrum?

    They just follow Raj's orders along with everyone else. RAJ is the problem. Most just roll with it and collect a paycheck.

    The problem is indeed lack of leadership at the VP level and lack knowledge. Some of the VPs are at best good managers.

    You have bunch of people at all level who do not know what they are doing. Once in a while you will get a talent but the talent is not managed well......therefore, they leave.

    The good ones leave and only the rejects stay.

    LEGAL MATTER?

    Why do you have people who commute over 2 hours away? Why are they not moving? What does that tell you? They are not committed also most of their days are spent on travel.....Think about it.

    You need to also make your rules on working from home office (Irvine) fair. For instance, David Otis from QA has the privilege of working from TO close to where he lives and Joyce Canbanban from PVG who lives in TO does not have the privilege to work from TO….. One is a white man and the other is a minority women…….How can you miss this!? ......You need to get a better hold on your compliance issues.....Don't get sued.

    It is not a Joe issue. It is the VPs issue. Joe is being nice to keep them. He needs to let them go.

    They do not work well and I agree with the post above that they are at best 'good managers' without skill that are using this company to build their resume. They are also only out for themselves. They do not care about their employees. If they make it look like they do, do not trust it, it is fake.

    Joe is trying.Dr. Raj is not the major issue here as well. It is impossible to look after these adults as if they are children. He is doing that and he gets burned for it.....Not fair. He micromanages because he sees that that these people are not doing what they should be doing.

    Joe- Clean out ALL of the VPs and start fresh.

    Any thoughts on any of the VPs so that Joe and Dr Raj know how they really are? This is your opportunity to call them out on it and be honest and clear.

    Most VPs are useless. They rule as if this is a third world country.

    What does Pramod Gupta (VP) do except wasting money and yelling at people? You hired too many expensive people that are not producing anything. What are you doing? Executive Directors in his group have to put note when they go to the bathroom. Who did you hire to monitor them to that level?

    Pramod (VP)- Why have so many QA people that do not do much for a small company? Benchmark. Quality and Regulatory Affairs should be combined under one person for a small company. Anil seems to know how to retain his folks. Give QA to him. Why did you hire the new QA Lead? What was wrong with Joe Hernandez to let him go? What was wrong with Luke Foo? He was doing great with smaller group.

    What does Keith Stewart (VP) do? He is never at work. He knows how to manage up but that’s about it.
