My manager is the shining example of a micromanager. Full of opinions but no solutions. Field rides are incredibly painful because they have zero personality. It only makes the time together awkward and futile. Has several conference calls but nothing of any importance. To all you managers out there ask yourselves before scheduling these calls "Is this REALLY that important?" If not just leave us alone.

Gotta agree with this. Where do they find these people? I got a new manager after mine was laid off and have to say I couldn't be more disappointed. Let us do some work instead of telling us every time someone sneezes in this company.

Managers will always consider field rides necessary because they are paid to snoop around. Karma will get them one day

Don't forget to review your field coaching reports!!!
Your ASM can write anything they want to put you on a PIP.

Seriously: You are worried about coaching reports when the only thing you should thinking about and doing is interviewing for your next job.

Is this thread based on the manger up in TN? If it isnt it should be. 2 of her team says she needs a life.

Totally agree!! Worthless at best. Rambles and makes no sense. The worst is that she also throws EVERYONE under the bus with her colleagues and anyone willing to listen. Watch your back.

I've had 3 different CL's from separate regions mention that their manager stated on a conference call that if the sales force feels like looking at other opportunities that they should go ahead and do so, and that Indivior has been a good company to work for. If their heart isn't focused on doing this please start looking. Wonder what the subliminal message is there? Whatever it is it hasn't prevented or stopped anyone from doing what they need to do for themselves. We don't owe this company a thing.

Been in pharmaceuticals a long time. My manager here is by far the worst I have ever encountered. The new leadership via GlaxoSmithKline is not impressive. Old school big pharma is a poor fit. Hard to watch the crumble.

If I lived in Pennsylvania I would quit too. Those 2 managers are like dumb and dumber but have just enough gumption to behave like dirty politicians. My man in Scranton is a lucky dude.

SS is a toad and JE is definitely a politician. The unfortunate part is they both look like total fools. And the more unfortunate part is their teams are stuck with complete inept BSers. At least JE has LT to admire in tight shirts, sorry SS you are the real loser

That’s funny. I heard they split up again anyway. TT from Pitt told me so many stories about her. Not the person I thought.
