Will any large player fork up $400 - 500 mil to pick this struggling firm no way. And Duggan might let it slide, if he had any interest he would have already made Tender offer. Need's atleast $100 mil cash runway to recover. Management total bunch of morons to not raise when they could.

This company need to make a strong statement about it's ability to come back. Or CEO needs to leave.

    Where did the money go?

Here's the lesson: Any antibiotic start up that needs to commercialize it's product by creating it's own salesforce is going to be a failure by design.

ACH should have been acquired by now. The fact that a salesforce was even created meant that there was not appetite from anyone.

    See 'ya in Chapter 7.

HCPs wouldn’t be chomping at the bit to get an antibiotic if there was no salesforce either. Let’s face it, it wouldn’t work either way. Pharmacists and stewardship committees have successfully taken away any incentives by pharma to even stay in this space.

We bought ourselves another quarter. Maybe. The fact that the AGN deal fell through and nobody is picking up any abx including Shinogi means sayonara.

    What was the AGN deal?

No one knows if there even was a deal. This is the same rumor that has been going around for over a year. No one knows or says anything. I’m sick of hearing about this supposed deal.

Seriously. Are we about to be delisted from the NYSE or what? What's the threshold?

Any talk of a bankruptcy within the company??

It's a classic case of bankruptcy by design. The investors get screwed, the principals take hefty salaries and severances, and then the drug is sold to the highest bidder at pennies on the dollar it cost to develop.

Chapter 7 liquidation is next. The court will sell the drug and all assets. This is why there are no suitors, even at the current stock price.

Watch. The assets will be picked up for less than 1/8 of current market cap.
