hi... I am considering a position as a TM in the RespirTech division (Incourage vest and cough assist) Anyone have any insight on company/ division culture, market, products, pay, etc.?

    Thank you!

I currently work for Philips and was interested in a position in this division. After speaking with one of the teams I didn't get a good feeling about it. It seems everyone is new, they haven't been able to staff up for over a year and the director is unreasonable. It may be good, hard to say, but it was enough that it was a turn off to me. It does relatively well as a division, though so I don't think it would be a complete mistake...

What is the typical base salary and overall earning potential (median not average) for the TM role?

Worked here for a couple years. 70/80 base plus monthly and quarterly commission. Average rep is prob at 130-150. The product is best on market but the internal process for approvals is daunting and holding things back. Overall, it’s a great Division with some great people, there are just tons of headaches.

Income potential used to be high with this company. Made 180-220k a few years ago now you are lucky if you make 130. Quotas are unrealistic and leadership sucks. Everyone is quitting .

Why is everyone leaving this division?

AffloVest is a much better product.

Afflo is trash tbh, but it has a DME sales model and moving due to tight relationships in pulm. InCourage is best on market but the insurance approvals is a bitch. This place used to be hot 5/6 years ago. I’d only take this if I was new to the field.
