What is a salary range for an experienced rep? I interviewed last week and the salary the manager stated was low. Bonus was good.

    Then you already know.

If you have any experience, this is not a wise move. 63 is most you’ll get, and micromanaging culture is toxic.

youll probably have to negotiate to get up to $63k

A lot of DMs will start you out at $55k. If you have 5 years or more experience and a successful track record then you could negotiate your way up to $60-$65k.

Lol at the bonus being good hahaha. I mean if you hit your goal every quarter for all 4 drugs for all 4 quarters then you can make like $28k lolol. Good luck with that

I agree. I think the bonus if you hit all your numbers is about $24k.

The salary is beyond ridiculous!I had 5 years of experiencing and they offered me 62,000 for the high.Wtf!I am now with a company making almost twice that much. This is definitely an entry level company

Fact. With them “criticizing” you, to see how you react.

Bonus at plan, only if you hit goal for all 4 of your drugs, which will likely change every quarter. Good luck with that bro.

Depends on the division. PC, WH, 50-75k.. institutional 100-135k. Allergan is making an attempt to fix it. Whether or not they do is another story

Awesome. So now it’s just what, 35 percent less than the industry average?

Maybe some of the Executives should share their salaries with the people in the working ranks struggling, since they ruined the companies they merged together all while shamelessly lining their own pockets, private planes, waste, greed. How's that for an idea?

Be very careful when interviewing with this company Allergan. They have had tons of issues with age discrimination. According to a well know labor lawyer Allergan's Eye Care Director Brad F from Atlanta has two new lawsuits pending due to his questioning of age or comments about age during recent interviews. This is not the first time that Brad has stepped over the line during an interview. This has been an on going problem for Allergan and Brad F has just added to the case load of lawsuits.

What divisions are you in? This is incredibly low. I’m in urology and my base is $129,000 and make about $50k in bonuses. I do well with my quota. So the answer definitely depends on the division.

Everything in the $55-60k range is primary care

$75k for specialty sales reps selling primary care products to specialists

Other division like botox and urology are completely different.

om general medicine side it’s very low compared to other companies. New hires between $55-60 and for specialty reps around $75. Probably because with Allergan being a specialty rep means nothing as you will also have an average of two primary care reps calling on the specialists as well and specialty reps that call on primary care.

Why are the managers so obsessed with age? Is experience looked down on at Allergan? Do they just want young reps that they think they can control? Why do they waste the time of experienced reps by even interviewing them?
