If this were any ABM, or manager or even Director, they would be dismissed immediately. Biogen, if they are a ethical company should dismiss her post hast! anyone still at Biogen, i feel for you as its going to be an even rougher next few years. while commercial has been a mess for several years now, the current problems can be traced back years ago when the BOD not only decided to oust George who wanted to diversify but narrow Biogen's focus. the BOD decided to spin off hemophilia which was bought out by Roche for twice the amount. Everyone knew that the pipeline was thin and yet nothing was done through an acquisition to bolster growth. betting the company on beta amyloid plague removal as the key to an alzheimer's treatment despite other companies bombing out was downright negligent. Stelios should be ashamed of himself and resign. He and the BOD sold out to Wall Street years ago. with that said the culture at Biogen is one of the worst ive ever seen. there is absolutely no trust. the commercial organization started going downhill when Ciaffoni was hired and has only accelerated with the hiring of Alisha. She is a total narcissist and would throw her mother under the mother to look good. She has and is driving the last experienced quality people out of the organization. She will never take the fall for anything. Her wake is littered with dead bodies. if you think it cant get any worse, get ready. MS franchise is old and stale and has no growth other than through price increases. Spinraza's revenues have peaked and look to fall as the low hanging fruit has been picked as patients switch to maintenance. then factor in Novartis' SMA product and watch out as its a superior product. By the time Alisha is gone, she will have completely gutted and wrecked the last of Biogen's commercial organization. i wish everyone good luck, you are going to need it.
the clock is ticking on our company. Biogen only survives if bought out in the near future. A skeleton crew from Biogen will be the only thing remaining in less than 2 years.
