What’s the latest here with hiring the sales force? Aborted? Delayed?

Delayed. Sounds like a paperwork/data error, not safety or efficacy.

Those who made the next round beyond the phone screens have been contacted. Just sit tight .

Yeah read the other string. Doesn’t look good, I was contacted and will likely pull out. This company has a bunch of amateurs running the show. Good luck to you all if you decide to hop on board of the titanic.

If you cant see the writing on the wall with that debacle of an FDA filing then you deserve to be at Zogenix. The most important filing ever for this company and they botched it. Ive worked at start ups before and have learned a great deal and this place will be a crap show for sure. Look at the incompetence that cost the Co. 10's of millions in company value and the race hasn't even began yet. I would wait for this drug to be actually approved before joining as they're high risk, if you join you may be unemployed if the FDA denies approval. You rarely see this stuff happen to solid companies. Way too high risk to join! What else did they leave out of the phase 3 studies, etc? Now if this was novartis, amgen etc i would say risk to join before launch is low, but not here. You have to make decisions on facts and reality and ive just seen it, be careful

The real risk at Zogenix is the COO and Sales Leadership they put in place. The culture these people have destroyed and the new culture they're rolling out is just unbelievable. They used to be a place where everyone was treated like adults, and allowed to figure things out and get things done. This place is no longer Zogenix of the past. Too bad. RH was the man - and SF has no clue about Sales. I thought he was a brilliant guy on the clinical side, but if you read what FDA said in response to the submission of a lifetime - I couldn't be more embarrassed for him. How's it feel to be hiring all these professionals with so much rare disease - like that was the path to success. Looks like you got what big pharma gets - and it serves you right for creating the culture you are. It's called gutless leadership, and you should have kept RH there.

Glad to see you sharing your personal situation on here. One small correction, there is no current hiring process going on here. It's been frozen. Anyhow, thanks for putting your personal stuff out there. Lmao

Roughly 20 KAMs to be hired.
My question is around base and bonus
What are people hearing about the base pay range?

What is the start date for the 20 Kams?

Has anyone received a written offer and a start date?
Or are they still in the someday maybe stage?

They can’t afford the tenured reps they’re looking for. Did 3 interviews and last guy said he’d hire me on the spot if it was solely up to him. Everyone was excited about me and then we discussed salary & it’s been crickets for a week. Rare disease typically pays 140’s to mid 160’s. Idea of Selling a diet drug for seizures was a little off putting too. No thanks.

I have an interview in January, can anyone else confirm the salary band and bonus? When will the start date be? I have meeting with my company and want to double dip if I can.

I will give you my opinion - the manager is just meeting with you to get you to do a free, detailed business plan for them. They will probably not be offering a job at all. That is my experience with this company.

Also make a few phone calls and verify the background of the person with whom you are interviewing.

No one has been hired. No one is being hired.
I call BS on this gig.
    Very weak management.
weak product that will not be approved until May 26, 2010...if then.

Weak leadership here. Cast offs from other pharma outfits who were unwanted there. Trying to dress these gigs up with a bow BUT it’s a ploy. Lower bases and very questionable leaders.

I did a video with a leader and was rather shocked at the lack of knowledge of the industry. very, very weak.
