I am assuming you are one of the drones on the “leadership team”. If so, you have no room to speak of integrity. Perhaps you should conduct an anonymous survey. You will quickly see that pretty much everyone is miserable. Not just the handful of “negative” people. Stop being in denial. If you speak your mind at Convatec then you are branded a trouble maker and negative. A culture based on fear and threats. Not how things were before.

There is no safe speaking. You push back they fire you. You don’t get the savings they fire you. You give your best effort they fire you. You look for a new job and they are happy to see you leave. This place is horrible.

Sadly there is no First Amendment here. No Freedom of Speech. If you do speak up to HR or your manager, beware. You will be dismissed after they very strategically document every little thing you do or don't do. They will create or make up scenarios to fit their ultimate objective. This was the reality for 2 TMs in our region. You may try to speak up but be looking for another job or have a side gig as several people have done. As far as call requirements go, we were actually told by our manager a while back that we should just log emails or telephone calls as actual face to face calls. Who am I to argue. You have to play the game. It is all a game. Funny thing is, I crushed my numbers with both a side gig and fake calls. As you said, they are all clueless!

First off, if you think this feedback is the work and feelings of a small, disgruntled group of employees, you're delusional. 95%+ of the employees would agree with just about everything written on this board about this management team. I guess that stat is not in synch with your "anonymous" satisfaction survey (ummmm...btw..everyone knows it not anonymous).

Next--- Let's not make this personal or talk about integrity. We all know that the absolute lack of integrity is on management's side of the equation, not the worker bees, who go out and bust their asses everyday so you can get a paycheck. We are all sick and tired of supporting this incompetent transient group of management. If you're trying to make it better, you are failing miserably. Telling us that we're not intelligent and no other company would hire us is more evidence of your complete and utter lack of leadership skills. I think youre taking advantage of YOUR anonymity to show us what you're really all about. Not too smart, poor manager and complete lack of integrity. Thanks from the dozens of us that read these boards for demonstrating what we already know about you.

If you are trying to make things better then please know that you are failing miserably. Things are worse than ever. Not better. You can always determine the health of this company based on the posts on this board. The boards have been fairly quiet since about 2014 during the last miserable spell. In between that time it Has been quiet. You want to know why? It is because things were good and the management team was great and people were happy. The culture was good. Nothing major to complain about. In the past year it has gone to hell. Worse than 2014 and it is because there is a group of out of touch, inexperienced individuals leading this company. Our #1 seller and money maker is SCD but yet it has been on backorder since February. Why? How are we supposed to sell something that is on backorder. You need to do better! It is unacceptable. It is your responsibility to provide us the tools to succeed. Every single person I have talked to hates working here and is miserable. These are formerly very happy and tenured employees.

I can tell that this leadership team is so out of touch with what selling for this company is really like. It is impossible to schedule 8 appointments in one day. I have done well for the majority of my 10 years here and I make 2-3 very good calls a day. These are productive calls that yield results. I take time to pre call plan and go over relevant studies to present prior to each call. That is how a quality, high level, results yielding sales call is conducted. Why is leadership so focused on a number? RSM’s also know this is impossible to do. We have voiced our opinion to leadership countless times and they do not hear or care what is being said and continue to sink this ship further. So now everyone is just lying to keep leadership off their backs. Smart leaders that have an actual clue know better. It is almost as if they are too scared to admit something is not working. Im turning in my notice next week and am so happy. Found a job that pays 26k in base pay and they don’t have war room or Quickbase.

Take a look at workday.......28 openings. By next week with your resignation I know we will be over 30 openings because, I also have found another better paying job. After 7 years of trying to stay afloat on this rocky ship, I think that it has finally sunk. Wait to you get March numbers....heard Q1 was a complete loss and we are on track to lose more than the 25 million we did last year. Not going to be pretty

Holy crap there are 28 TM openings and 4 ATM. They are not expansion territories either. We did not have any expansion, maybe added 8. I recall the number being 45 STMs and 52 CTMs. We had around 88 TMs last year. This must be why the recent rosters have not included open territories. A third of our sales force are vacancies. WOW

You can include 4 RSMs also. That’s over 1/3 of the RSMs

Anxious to see how our wonderful leadership team spins this dysfunctional mess on the 2019 Q1 earnings call on Monday May 3rd. No more manufacturing relocation or hurricane excuses. We are batting 100 at continuing not meeting expectations. Stock was at 218 this time last year and has been a flat 138 since Q4

Yeah but not 28 expansion openings. Look in the mirror or at least at the current roster. Accept reality. There’s a mass exodus going on and we are losing many experienced reps with years of relationships. We are in a commodity space and relationships are very instrumental.

Btw the RSM territory is not an expansion. It’s back to the old alignment before the 2 super territories.....another great leadership idea that was implemented last summer.
