I heard the same thing. They are launching a buy and bill product mostly for eye clinics, but X would fit right in. Recruiters won’t talk to you unless you have 3 years buy and bill experience. X would be an add on for them and they won’t consider xiidra reps for the positions.

Obu is considered primary care to horizon and most other companies.

^^^ not sure about that. I’ve been contacted and have no buy & bill.

Very interesting and they will be in the eye business soon. Could be good news for OBU.

The product hasn’t even been approved yet. They are hiring rbds right now. Ophthalmology is only one call point for the product. You will need hospital and buy and bill experience

You hear something from someone who has no idea wtf they are talking about and think its true. Unless you heard it from christophe weber
Then take it with a grain of salt.

Recruiters are making contact. If hospital and buy & bill are required, they are not following that because I dont have either.

You realize recruiters get paid to put as many resumes in the hiring managers hands as possible right? Law of averages. Post when you get a real interview.

so first it was you gotta have buy & bill experience.
Then it as buy & bill plus hospital experience
Next- no, they are only hiring regional managers
Now you’ve decided to discourage me because I don’t have the job yet, nor an interview

Do you think you’re the ceo or something? I am well aware that I don’t have a job with them yet. But sure got a couple of calls from recruiters when you said I couldn’t. Bet I will get an interview before you do.

    So FU sunshine!

Men must be surgically sterile or use certain approved forms of barrier contraceptives for at least 180 days from last treatment. Women must be on two forms of birth control for same period of time.

Studies did not include any healthy enrollees.

Very specialized reps with tight clinical selling. Large territories. Very small customer base

I was the one that heard they were hiring regional managers. I also heard about buy and bill but did not post it. Good luck. I’m not sure why others want to discourage people.

This same board told me Surgical companies would not consider OBU reps from Shire. Two of us from my region left for- you'll never guess-
    OPHTHALMIC SURGICAL SALES positions!
This board also suggested Novartis would not bother interviewing Shire OBU reps for Retina positions. Wrong again! Several left Shire for Novartis.

Do not ever limit yourself to what some JERK on CP says they know. Sometimes these are guidelines or parameters that are generalized, but people hire based on personality, other experiences, track records, industry reputation, and so much more.

    Go for it!
