we (commercial sales team) are being directed by management to proactively set up inservices for a msl to discuss an iv product with nurses before their first use of said product. We are not present for the inservice but provide commercial sales aids and dosing guides prior to the meeting. This is occurring proactively and not in response to a practitioner request. Is this illegal?

We also have medical science liaisons training our physician speakers on presenting commercial speaker program presentations.

Lastly we train our new medical science liaisons side by side in a training class with new sales reps.

I have brought this up to management as a potential conflict and repeatedly been told it is approved by our compliance dept
