No mass packages since mid to late 2000’s but individuals do receive packages all the time, just before being escorted out the door by Security or if they are in political favor. I was told that many HR received a package in 2007. Used to happen every 4 - 10 years.
Good packages scarce unless (1) someone made a mistake and you have a great claim against the company, (2) you are master of passive-aggressive annoying behavior, just competent enough to avoid grounds for easy firing and your boss really just wants you out of there, (3) you are part of a protected leadership mafia
So true until the leadership mafia crumbles. Now with the CIO out, everyone is waiting for his cronies to fall too....SW, CD, etc, etc. all of which have no business being in the role they are in.
